5.0 out of 5 stars nice coffee and capuccino cups
These cups are suitable for coffee, tea, capuccino, late etc. Made of good quality porcelain, quite better looking than the ceramic mugs. May be a little bit thick for those who prefer fine bone porcelain. According to me they are the typical for european coffee shops cups. Look durable. Nice neat design.

2.0 out of 5 stars These are NOT 6 oz... they are 8+ oz
These are advertised and listed as being 6-ounce cups. However, I measured the cups when I received them, and they actually hold slightly more than 8 oz to the brim. A cappuccino cup should be 5 ounces, or 6 ounces if you like it with extra espresso. EIGHT ounces is WAY too much no matter how you look at it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice cappuccino cups, November 9, 2010
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Konitz Coffee Bar Cappuccino 6-Ounce Cups and Saucers, Set of 4, White (Kitchen)
Want a set of porcelain Cappuccino cups at Williams Sanoma (at the mall or dotcom) and you will spend well over $40.00, plus tax. These are every bit as good for a little more than half the price with Amazon convenience. The cups are sturdy, the finger whole fits an adult males fingers with ease, and the cups retain heat in a fashion similar to any good cups. The picture is accurate so judge their looks for yourself. One reviewer thought his/her cappuccino tasted better in these cups which strikes me a silly. I have not attempted a ceramic vs. porcelain cup taste test as I do not think my palette is that sensitive or refined. The size of the cup goes perfectly with the size of the cappuccinos that our Delonghi Magnifica prepares. If you want solid white cappucccino cups this is great cup at a great price. If you want a good cup for a cheap price Walmart can help you with that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best cappuccino cups I've found yet, November 1, 2010

This review is from: Konitz Coffee Bar Cappuccino 6-Ounce Cups and Saucers, Set of 4, White (Kitchen)
These are great cappuccino cups! I'm very pleased with their appearance, size, and performance. As a previous reviewer noted, these cups are thicker than those of thin, dainty style, but this isn't a negative. The relative thickness doesn't seem clunky or cheap (meaning they're not excessively thick), they're durable, and I agree that these look like standard coffee shop cups.

These are the perfect size for a standard cappuccino (I'm not sure what drink the previous reviewer was making), and also work well as regular coffee cups. And finally, as an added bonus, I've found that these stack securely for storage (two cups/saucers high), with the bottom rim of the saucer fitting nicely in the bottom cup.

The build quality is decent, and the price is right(although Amazon has increased the price by a buck since I ordered a couple days ago). The rims are a little on the thick side, as others have pointed out. The mugs fit well on the saucer.

The batch I received were Made in Thailand.

These are falsely advertised as something they are not, therefore the 2-star rating. The box they came in says "Cappuccino," but it does not say how much they hold. There are several websites out there that show their correct 8 ounce volume, but most of the websites continue to incorrectly display these as being 6 ounce mugs.

Too bad Amazon doesn't make it easy to contact them to report problems with their listings...

4.0 out of 5 stars 6 oz cups, January 24, 2011

I prefer 9 oz cups - these 6 oz cups are just a bit too small if you like lungo coffee or a bit more milk. Good quality, holds the heat, feels good in your hand, well-packaged, great price.

if it matters...these are 7 oz to the brim of cup. Not 6 oz. Yes they will hold 6 oz. I think they are very sturdy and nice looking cups for cappuccino as a 7 oz cup would be the perfect size. I was looking for a cup for a lungo (double espresso) as I like to add milk to mine. This cup is too large and wide for that. 4 stars only because of the incorrect capacity listed.

I love this set because the mugs are the perfect size for a nice cup of cappuccino. They are good quality -- nice smooth edges and good weight. I'm thinking about getting another set.

Great cups! I love how they look and how well they are made. I dropped one in the sink the other day and it didn't break.

5.0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive and the Perfect Size!, January 29, 2012
This review is from: Konitz Coffee Bar Cappuccino 6-Ounce Cups and Saucers, Set of 4, White (Kitchen)
I bought these right after I came home from 4 months abroad in Italy to use with a moka pot and cappucino frother that I bought while I was there. They are exactly what I was looking for: rounded in shape for good frothy foam and matching saucers! My only negative comment is that the inset in the saucer is significantly larger than the base of the cup, so it can be slightly wobbly when carrying the two together when the cup is full. However, the cup is pretty thick and heavy, so it usually stays put well enough...I'm pretty clumsy, and I haven't had any problems with this yet.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not White But Ugly Grey Color, January 21, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Konitz Coffee Bar Cappuccino 6-Ounce Cups and Saucers, Set of 4, White (Kitchen)
I was really excited to receive these cups but they were of very poor cheap quality. The rims of the cup were really thick and the cup was a dull grey color not pretty at all and nothing like the cappuccino cups you see in the coffee shops so I am returning them today.
