5.0 out of 5 stars Well, it fits ... and it works, after all, January 15, 2007

This review is from: Konus T-2 Camera Ring for Nikon Cameras (Electronics)
There's not much to say about a T-Ring -- either it fits, and works, or it doesn't.

But I ordered this item with my fingers crossed. For one thing, it's called a "T-2" camera ring. Uh oh, I said -- is that a standard T-ring, or some different "T-2" size?

And since it's cheap and generic (it's called "Konus" on Amazon, but the paper box it comes in has NO brand at all!), I wondered if it would be a piece of junk. And would it have the crucial set-screw adjustments that let you rotate your accessories?

Well, it really is a standard T-ring; why they confuse things by calling it a "T-2", I can't imagine. And it's well made, and nicely finished -- it snapped onto my Nikon with a satisfying click, and my T-mount accessories screw in smoothly. It's anodized aluminum, not plastic, and it does have the set screws. And for those who care about such things, it was made in Japan, not China.
