Very pleasant listening classical Era Flute Concertos at its best !, April 19, 2006

I have thought for a long time , if i can give 5 Stars to Works of the classical Era , without thinking that there is a real
Masterpeace on it. I did because the performance and the cd recording is excellent . The Works are all very cheerful classical era Flute Concertos in the style of Mozart , but they are at least nearly as good as the Mozart Concertos,if not a little bit better as the 2 Mozart`s Concertos, more melodic and lyrical ,- i don`t mean Mozart`s concerto for Flute and Harp,
witch is a Masterpeice !
Bruno Meier is together with Andras Adorjan my favourite Flutist , he has a magnificant thrill ! - So at least , there are only very few cds with Flute Concertos , witch have such a good standard throughout , that i thought , thats worth 5 Stars .
Its a very joyful cd with 4 concertos for more than a pleasing hour !
