Everything works as described, great on Kindle fire. The only thing that keeps this app from 5 stars is the lack of folders.

Syncs notes to Dropbox, supports Markdown syntax,

This is my favorite note taking app. I've configured the epistle notes on my phone to sync to my Dropbox account, so they're available on my laptop or via Dropbox's web interface. Although most note taking apps format everything as plain text, this app allows you to format your notes by using Markdown syntax. Markdown syntax is simple to learn and even if you are looking at it on a computer that doesn't render it, it still makes sense. For instance to do a bullet list in Markdown, you just start each list item with an asterisk like this:* My first item * Another item * Finishing with this item When the format is rendered, you'll get a nice bullet list. To do italics, you can put an underscore before and after the text you want italicized, _like this_ Anyway if you are interested, you can just search the web for "Markdown syntax". |
