These are the best replacement pads on the market period! They are soft and easy on rims but never seem to wear out. I have used them on road bikes and bikes with V-brakes and Kool stop are the very best. No aluminum embeded in them to wear out your breaking surfaces on the rims. Upgrade your brakes to any Kool stop pads and experience much better breaking, longer wear and quieter operation. Black pads work great while the salmon color work slightly better if you ride alot in wet conditions. They make replacements for Shimano and other brands as well.
