Koolspace introduces their koolR series of wine cellar cooling units, a quieter, smaller, smarter way to protect your wine. Each unit is equipped with a convenient lit display that lets you monitor the temperature from outside your wine cellar. State-of-the-art digital temperature sensors monitor conditions in your wine room and adjust the power levels automatically, so there's no need to fiddle with the fan and power settings. Acoustic and thermal insulation makes the koolR both super quiet and energy efficient. With a hi-temp alarm, excess humidity warning and a multi-level vibration suppression system, the koolR wine cooling unit ensures optimal storage conditions are maintained in your wine cellar. The koolR PLUS offers a cooling capacity of 3000 BTU/hr. and is designed for an enclosure up to 600 cubic feet.

Purchased and installed almost five years ago. Worked great first two years but then noticed it started running more to cool to 57 degrees. This winter the unit would not properly cool my cellar so I've been researching other manufactures. Called a couple stores and the basic comment was that I'm lucky it didn't break before this, saying they usually last 2-3 years? It's quiet and looks good, but thats where it stops. Manufactures brochure about issues to repair or troubleshoot is nonexistent so they want consumers to buy another. I've been looking at whisperkool which is made locally in California. Not sure if the noise and installation is going to work for me so I might be stuck buying another Koolspace and that's frustrating???
I've had this unit running for two years in my 375 cubic foot wine room. It has been completely reliable and has maintained its temperature perfectly. I've had two minor issues. First, the humidity hovers around 50%, which is somewhat low. Second, the interior fan has blown a fair bit of very tiny paint flakes into the wine room. I cannot see where they originate, but they haven't seemed to do any harm.
Overall, I think it's a fantastic unit for a tight space. Mine is located over the cellar door and looks great too! It is a great value when you compare it feature by feature to more expensive brands...

This's a very compact size unit of itself, the most positive rating i would say's super Quite, temperture are very accurate, just that having little hard time while installing this unit between wood stud, it would be perfect if it's fit without cutting stud..
