I love these. Unlike six sided dice these yeild a flush, staight flush, Royal flush (all the hands). Dice are 5 through ace. No wheel per though. The rules should be changed how ever. The unsuited straight is much harder to hit than the straight flush and needs to be moved to the top dog spot. In some cases the final die for the straight is one out of eight sides and in some cases 0 out of eight as in 0% chance. This is because there are four of each kind (as should be) and five die. I play 3 rolls per person with an all or nothing fourth roll if play calls it and calls the hand they are rolling for. I set point values for all the hands and score accordingly.
These are the best poker dice out there. 8 sided.

The concept is great and even my young nephew can understand how to play. Be aware though that the writing can rub off if you apply a fingernail to the dice. I gather that the ink will come off if played many, many time. Most people though, I have seen only play for a half an hour and start to get bored of the game. A good teaching tool for kids to learn how to play poker though. If anyone has a gambling problem, you may want to keep money out of this game. It is like craps and poker "rolled" into one.

I must admit, these dice were pretty fun. With these dice, you can get hands that aren't possible with 6-sided poker dice such as a flush and a straight flush. On the downside, five of a kind is not possible. But other than that, I think they're fun to play with. They sure do give me a break from holding a hand of five playing cards in poker.

If you're into poker and like dice, you should get these.

6-sided poker dice are fun, but these 8-sided dice allow you the full ranking of hands including flushes. The lowest card value here is 5, versus 9 in a six-sided set. In other words, this set gives you the top 40 card values in the deck.

These dice are solid, heavy composition and roll very well. They arrived quickly from the seller and were as shown in the product image.

Well worth the price.

Well-designed poker dice in a nice antiqued white. These have the top 40 cards from a standard deck printed on. Playing with them feels a lot less like Yahtzee and more like actual Poker, since you can roll anywhere from 5 up to aces depending on the die. Each die is different so you have more possibilities and room to strategize. For poker-style dice games, these are my new favorites.

These dice can be used for a traditional Poker Dice game, except that there are 5 8-sided dice, with all cards five through Ace being represented, in all four suits. So the hands that you tend to roll are much lower than with traditional Poker Dice. A pair is a good hand in this game, so you may find that Liars Dice may not work well with this set.
