I have tried many different methods of basking areas for my two red eared sliders and these ramps and the best yet. It makes it very easy for the clunky turtles to get up out of the water and bask. I have the turtles in two different tanks (one 120 gal and one 75 gal) and have a large ramp in each.

My RES loves it, I love it too. I was worried it won't take the weight and get lose and starts falling down but the ramp works perfectly and it give a clean look to the aquarium. Had it for 2 months now and its a great product.

I like this thing. It holds well to the side of the tank and is strong and sturdy. My only complaint is that it doesn't look natural enough to blend in with the rest of the landscape...especially if your going for a natural looking setting for your turtle.

It served its purpose well for a few months, then the green traction material began 'shedding', clogging my filter, and now the strips are coming off the plastic completely.

It's an ingenious design and fit snugly and securely in my 90 gallon tank, however my 10-inch female and 5-inch male Red-Eared Slider turtles wouldn't use it. I surported their well enough, although bent a bit under the big turtle's weight. That fact, mixed with the fact that it's clear is why I believe my turtles wouldn't trust it. I'm no longer using it.

I purchased this turtle dock for my 2 Red Eared Sliders, 6 inches, and 5 inches about 3 weeks ago because I was upgrading their 20 Gallon to a 40 Gallon Breeder with all new things. Their old styrofoam Zoo-Med dock wasn't really cutting it because it wouldn't handle both their weights. This turtle dock is simply amazing. My smallest turtle was eager to try it out right when we set everything up, but he loved it. After a few days of not using the dock, the biggest turtle started using it, and he can't help himself. If I scare him accidentally, minute's later he will be back on. I like that since it is made out of a see through material, the UVB light and Basking light can shine through so it's not dark underneath the dock. Both of my turtles love to dive off the "diving ramp" part of the dock. The suction cups are incredibly strong and I have not attempted to remove the dock from the aquarium yet, because I have yet to figure out how to do that. I'm probably going to have to use a knife. Although when both turtles are on the dock, it does bend a little, I think it will be strong enough for even large turtles. Don't be skeptical when buying this dock, although I wouldn't recommend it if your turtles are more than 8 inches or so because I don't know how the dock would handle them.

Product shipped on time. Ramp works great with my red eared slider she's about 7" long, ramp supports her great.

I have two turtle tanks. One is a 125 gallon tank and the other is a 75 gallon tank. One turtle is 12 inches and the other is 8 inches. I bought a ramp for each tank. They hold up pretty well. Easy to install. They are a god send. I do find that the turtles like to eat at the ramps green surface. It has been peeling off from them biting at it. I don't blame the company as turtles eat anything and everything.

We absolutely love this basking dock/ramp!

Our 4.5 inch red-eared slider (Bowser) can easily climb up it and will bask happily for hours at a time.

She used to have a Zoomed floating dock in her tank, but she started biting pieces off of it and eating it.

It became a mess to clean up, and a hazard to her health.

This dock, however, is made of sturdy plexiglass(?) with soft treads that make for easy climbing.

The first day we put it in the tank our turtle was scared of it. She stayed on the other side of the tank, and would occasionally examine the ramp but then swam away.

By the end of the second day, she decided to climb up it and has loved it ever since!

She even sleeps on the underwater part of the ramp.

The ramp is held to the side of the tank, barely fitting in my 55 gallon, by six suction cups.

I highly recommend this to aquatic turtle owners.

well constructed out of reasonably thick acrylic. it also sticks quite firmly to the side of my glass aquarium. my 7" slider is just a bit to heavy for it, i ended up propping up the lower ramp with bricks (works fine now). i would recomend this for small turtle owners only, 5" and under. as your turtle grows you will need to upgrade. small pieces of food and waste can also get stuck behind it. other than that a fine but temporary product.
