The old flapper was worn and every 30 minutes or so it would sound as if the toilet was flushing on its own. Took the great advice of a plumbing site devotee, who suggested that putting Vaseline on the bottom of the flapper would stop the flushing. Yes, it worked. But there's nothing like doing what you're supposed to do: replace a worn part. The flapper arrived, not too difficult to replace, and everything works like new. (The toilet is a discontinued Kohler Rosario).

Works great ! Did not change anything, just took the original out and
insert the new one at the same slot at the back (first slot from the bottom),
and it worked fine.

The item was described perfectly. It came quickly. It is very easy to replace. For $6 it's a good deal. I just installed it today so can't say anything about how long it lasts, but it looks like decent quality plastic.

Fail to tell you that it will not work on older Rialto models until you get it.

I ordered this item on April 24. BIC Superstore did not ship it until May 3 so the earliest I will get it is on May 10, which will be 16 days after the order was placed and payment was made. I will never order anything from BIC Superstore again. If they are out of stock of an item they should state this on the Amazon web page and not be taking orders for a week with no product to sell.

Never had such an issue with a toilet before my Kohler purchase. Stick with the lowest line of Toto and it's still superior to a Kohler toilet
