I tried this Lip Butter Glaze for the first time a couple of weeks ago, after I got it as a gift from a co-worker during our office Christmas party. The one I got at that time was Pomegranate/ Sheer Coral.
First of all, I love how this Lip Butter Glaze literally glides on, how soft it makes my lips feel, and how long it stays on. I've seen other reviews that said this glaze doesn't stay put and they "constantly have to reapply it". I definitely do not have that problem! My lips are always incredibly dry, it doesn't matter what time of the year it is, so I am a fanatic about keeping lip balm or lip gloss on my lips at all times. I used to wear lipstick all the time when I was in my 20's and early 30's. As I've gotten older (I'm 38 now), I have found lipstick to be too drying. And there's not much that looks as bad as lipstick on dry lips....the way it settles into the cracks and dry areas of your lips and looks darker in those areas than others....yikes.
I like that Korres Lip Butter Glaze keeps my lips feeling soft and looking healthy, while giving my lips a nice dose of color. Plus, you can "layer" the color..... depending on how light or dark you want it to look on your lips. And while I like the Pomegranate/ Sheer Coral Glaze I got, and I still use it often, I prefer this Jasmine. I have pale skin, with yellow undertones, and the Pomegranate Glaze is really nice if I apply ONE layer. If I get overly excited and apply more than that, the Pomegranate becomes too "coral" for my skin tone. With Jasmine, I can apply as much or little as I want, and the color stays a very nice, neutral/ pale pink. I also want to say that I don't like floral scents AT ALL, so I was hesitant at first to even order this in Jasmine. After reading several good reviews, I decided to go ahead and order it, despite the name "Jasmine". Oddly enough, it smells NOTHING like flowers. It has a very light, carmel scent to it. I took one star off because it doesn't taste good at all, despite what Korres and other reviewers have said. Neither does the Pomegranate, for that matter.
So if you're looking for a good tasting Lip Butter, this is definitely not it. I can't think of any Lip Butters that do taste good anyway. But if you're looking for a Lip Butter that will make your lips really soft and moist, and that will give a light, neutral pink tone to your lips, than this is the one for you! I highly recommend this Jasmine Lip Butter Glaze!!
