I've used Bare Minerals and tried a few other mineral makeups. BM is good, but I dislike their new packaging and how quickly I go through it. So, I picked up Korres Mineral foundation in Fair. For $28, you get an extra .5 oz of makeup, and Korres' seems to last longer---perhaps because the application is smoother--than the other mineral brands I've tried.
I have dry skin, so I suggest for those like me, you use a bit of moisturizer beforehand. However, I noticed that I could wear Korres often without moisturizer---it was a smoother application.
For the fairest of the fair, note, Korres "fair" might be a little too yellow for you; you might want to mix it up a bit with a little mineral concealer or do a lighter application of it until you get the hang of it.
I haven't tried out the coverage of the SPF 30 in the product, but it's good to know it's there---it's cool to get an extra 15 spf in your makeup product, esp. for girls as prone to the suns rays as I am.
Even if you're a die-hard with other mineral brands, I'd suggest giving this one a try. It's a great value!
