This cook has taste! One of my favorite cookbooks. Try the tarragon chicken, the stuffed cornish hen, chicken with vinegar the challah...everything here was elegant and simple. All became standard recipes at my house because of the compliments I get when I used Nash's recipes. The cookware tips in the beginning of the book are helpful for beginners (but I would choose an all-clad pot over a cast iron dutch oven, personally) Good for beginners and seasoned cooks as well. I think it was re-printed recently and updated for the more modern kitchen.
