In each case, domestic constraints are explored and the ways in which differing perspectives of political and military leadership fed into the crisis are examined. Further thematic chapters determine the war's consequences and the lessons to be drawn in terms of the wider issues of refugees, humanitarian intervention, European security, and geopolitics.>

This book is a really hard read. It is broken down into regions and countries. Beyond the first couple of chapters I had to put it down and keep it as a reference book. Most of the information was repetative and didn't really give a huge amount of insight. Way too slow a read and very little information using too many words. .
