4.0 out of 5 stars bang for the buck
I've been using the same pair for 3,5 years almost daily...and they have taken their share of rather abusive use being twisted, yanked, stuffed in-and-out of bags, purses, etc. For a price below 10$, these earphones are amazingly durable. True, they don't have much bass, but then - I'm not a fan of booming noise in my ears. So, for those who prefer to actually hear the...

1.0 out of 5 stars Uncomfortable
The speakers don't stay snug against your ear canal, and the ear clip is uncomfortable. Bad design.

True, they don't have much bass, but then - I'm not a fan of booming noise in my ears. So, for those who prefer to actually hear the finest tunes and words of music/movies/speech, these are perfect. As for the fit, earphones are comfortable, but might be a bit too big for people with really small ears. Overall, a good bargain for the price.

I'm glad I did not pay much for these, because I threw them away after two uses. I bought them to save space in my carry-on during my last vacation. I should have stuck with bigger ones that worked better. I could not get the bud to stay in my ear, even the over-ear clip did not help - these things are made for people with HUGE ears.

2.0 out of 5 stars No bass!, October 22, 2003

I was hoping these would be decent for wearing while running but I'm already really disappointed after listening to them for five minutes. They have no bass. They don't come close to the random Sony earbuds I have sitting on my desk at work - even when plugging into my laptop's cruddy headphone jack the difference between them is huge and unacceptable. Without bass they just accentuate the flaws in compressed audio.

Ergonomically they might be comfortable, but I haven't logged the time to tell. They certainly feel like they'll stay on through most activities.

3.0 out of 5 stars decent sportclip headphones, November 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Koss KSC6 SportclipTM Stereophone (Electronics)
as a regular walker who uses a mp3 player i am fairly happy with my Koss sportclip phones...buying them from Amazon at a great price was a big incentive to get them..the ear buds are not adjustable and i have a little problem getting them to be close enough to hear the moderate bass that these phones provide..the clarity is very good and overall when i finally break this product i will purchase another one....

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my ears, February 24, 2011
This review is from: Koss KSC6 SportclipTM Stereophone (Electronics)
I had searched for lightweight over-the ear but NOT in ear headphones. These were the pair I found that work best for my needs and my ears. They have a good range of sound, and I have no personal issues with how I experience sound quality. They rest over my ear and as far as I can tell are NOT meant to fit in the ear canal, which is what I wanted. No problems with glasses (which the large pad over-ear models have), and they have the Koss limited lifetime warranty. I've had mine for ~7 years, sent one pair to Koss for free replacement when I lost sound in one side. That cost me something like $3 shipping.

They aren't best for sports, I use the Koss "Clipper" which can be put in the ear canal, or rest on top (my preference) for that.
