The Koss CDP-1700 is a personal CD player which plays audio CDs, plus CD-R discs. This simple and affordable CD player sports a bass boost system which produces a richer sound, especially when using headphones. It is possible to hook up this player to a home stereo or boom box via the line-out jack. With four play modes (normal, repeat, shuffle and program) there are many options to listen to your favorite CDs. The two-digit LCD display will keep you up-to-date on track and time information. The player runs on two AA batteries, either alkaline or rechargeable. Other notable features include: resume and a one-bit D/A converter. The color is a sleek and modern silver and purple finish.

What a piece of junk!,

Recently, I went and bought this CD Player, i was going to geta ... Sony one but ended up with this one instead cuz' it was cheap u know? Well, this one I bought didn't even have antiskip protection at all! It skips whenever I go and it eat batteries like crazy! I had wasted over 10 batteries within a month. What a piece of junk! I don't think this product differs either so I recommend not buying it and get a better product. In fact, I just going to get a new CD Player from KOSS which I think will be better. This is not worth your time, and the cd players ugly too!

Cheap price but not cheap quality,

When I first bought this CD player I thought it wouldn't work all that well or the sound wouldn't be that great but it turned out to be a great product. Although I would invest in a more expensive brand if you're looking for more functions the Koss has been very reliable and at such a great price!

Not the best quality,

I bought this CD player because it was reasonably priced but I probably would have been better off buying a portable cd player with am/fm raido with a headphone jack. When I left the anti-skip protection off, it skips at the slightest move. I also found that if I turned the anti-skip protection on, the sound quality isn't as good.
