Another great KOSS item,

I have used these type items for years. They are easy to put in your ear - similar to "foamy" ear plugs. If you don't like ear plugs, don't expect to like these. The sound isolation is superb, as is the quality. The microphone is also very good. A lot less background noise than others I have tried.

Not for the Small eared folk,

I just wanted to say that I have used Koss "plugs" for some time now and they are terrific. I have no problem putting them into my ear or removing them. It does however have to be squished into the ear, so some people cannot get used to this idea. However, that is how it blocks outside sound. Try twisting while inserting. That's my 2 cents.

I buy about 10 head sets a year and this is my all time favorite. If you have to talk on the cell phone in a noisy enviornment it is just about the only one that works well. Please bring them back. I came back to amazon to buy another 5 and found them no longer carried.

Big sound for big ears,

I guess I have small ears. Who knew? The sound of this earpeice is great, as is the microphone, but I have the hardest time getting them in my ear. If you're going to buy this as your hands-free headset, don't expect to just be able to put it in your ear. You have to squish the earpeice really well, hold it tightly so it doesn't go back to its nomal shape (it does so in less than a second), and push it into your ear canal as quickly as you can. Mine came with various shapes of foam cushions, but they were all gigantic. The sound is great, and it does an excellent job blocking out sound on that one ear it is in, but overall it is too hard to get in my ear for it to get a great rating. If you don't like the earbuds for your stereo because they fall out so much, you probably won't like these. Otherwise, give them a try.

won't stay in the ear....,

Hey, I just want to let people know about this headset. I haven't used it, but I have Used the KOSS earbuds that are the same version. The idea is that these foamies at the tip of the earbuds are supposed to squish into your ear and provide "sound-insolation," but in reality, it is almost hard to get them into your ears in the first place. the foam is much softer than your average faom ear-plug, so if you roll it into a tube to get it into your ear, it only stays rolled up/squished for a fraction of a second. by the time you get it into your ear, it has expanded and simply squishes laterally on the surface of your ears. If you do happen to get it in, they easily fall out.. if you want it, go for it, but I had bad experiences with this style. I do have small ears though...
