In all honesty, I bought this because it was the cheapest CD/tape/tuner combo on Amazon at the time I got it. This is probably the reason you're looking at it, too. It's not a bad system, but don't expect the features that a nicer (and more expensive) system offers. For example, the remote control isn't all that great--it doesn't have numbers on it, only a few poorly designed buttons, so you can't quickly switch between presets--you can just scroll through them. Also, you can't use the remote to switch between functions (tuner, CD, tape)--you have to manually do that on the unit itself. And the remote doesn't work for the tape decks. Also, the unit has no audio-in ports, so you can't run your computer through it or tape something off of anything else. I expected a little more.

It's great, the best thing I ever bought. I got it as a mothers day gift and it is amazing. Great sound and features, I love the remote. I would pay more money for it because it is comparable. One downfall. The lenth of the speaker wires is small, like 4 feet. I wanted my speakers farther apart (on the top of a book case) so I went out and bought 30 feet of speaker wire for $3.50. It was the best bucks I ever invested for the entire package.If you want a good system, this is your best bet!

Anyone who wants a high-quality CD player, tape player, and AM/FM radio for a very reasonable price should seriously consider buying this model. It includes speakers, all necessary cords, a remote control, and a guarantee. The sound can only be described as splendid and on top of everything else the machine has a very handsome appearance!
