The microphone works great. It is unidirectional, so unwanted noise is limited to the noise behind the person talking in the microphone. It seems to work very well when actually attached to a shirt, no matter the actual facing of the mic. The holster is pretty handy, it makes putting the mic in a good location easy. I tend to keep it on the base of my monitor where a bezel helps me point it right at me. All in all I can't find any reason to dock it stars.
