Koss PORTABLE Replacement Cushions

If you're trying to replace foam pads on some other headset with Koss PORTABLE foam cushions, the following is mentioned:
The cushion outer shape is a round disk, 1 7/8 inches in diameter and 3/8 inch thick. The opening in one of the disk's flat surfaces, that you stretch over your headset earpiece, is round and 1 1/4 inches in diameter. The space within the cushion that fits the outer diameter of your headset earpiece appears to be 1 5/8 inches diameter. I'd have known this product didn't match my needs if some other review had mentioned these dimensions, so there they are. They are very nice cushions if they're the size you need.

I bought these replacement cushions for my Sennheiser PX100s after I ruined the originals by not using the case it came with when I threw them in my bag and overtime the pads developed holes, became warped, and wouldn't stay on anymore. These cushions fit perfectly fine on my PX100s, and now I'm happy that they are like new again. No more embarrassment of warped cushions falling off your headphones in front of everyone, no more judging!!!

I bought the Koss replacement ear cushions for use on my Sennheiser PX100 headphones and I found that they fit just fine. For three sets of compatible replacement ear cushions for $4.99 plus shipping, I'm very happy with this deal.

After a while the cushions wear out, so you need to replace them.. (duh)... especially when you wear the headphones while walking and they absorb sweat. Keep some replacements on hand. You might think replacement cushions are easy to find, but they aren't (especially for the Porta-Pros). Save yourself some grief and keep new cushions in stock.

I'm sure most manufacturers consider inexpensive headphones and headsets to be disposable, and enjoy selling replacements every few years when the ear pads dry out and start crumbling. After all, our economy rewards such behavior and hides the cost of overflowing landfills from producers.

KOSS has risen above the crowd by providing these replacement earpads. They worked just fine on my Panasonic headphones and my old Plantronics headset too! They are very stretchy - if your headphones have foam cushions that stretch over a plastic form about 1 - 1.5" in diameter they'll probably work for you.

My next set of headphones will be KOSS because I want to reward them for providing this rather than considering their product to be "disposable". I bet they sound good too if this is any sign of their engineering.

Have to agree with the previous review who said that sizing info on these would be useful. FYI, in the package the outside diameter of the pads is 1 7/8" (1.875" or appx 48mm) Bought these for my Sony behind-the-head earphones, and discovered that they're too small. I can get them to fit, but it's tough, and requires stretching them, something they just don't want to do. That's disappointing, because the diameter of my headphones is only 2 1/8" - not much larger.

I can get them to cover, but because they're so thin and non-stretchy, they barely hang on, and I often knock one off while removing the headphones. If they were a higher quality material (like Radio Shack used to offer) they would handle it no problem.

At least five(5) years ago (I think, I am a blonde after all LOL) I bought a pair of Koss KTX Pro headphones (see my review on them) and the only thing/problem I have had with my headphones have been the foam cushions falling apart after years of being used on a constant basis. I was begining to think that I would never be able to use my headphones again till I found these replacements. They are so easy to install even a blonde airhead LOL like me can put them on. Now my headphones are again like new. In fact I LOVE them sooooo much that when I order another pair of Koss KTX Pro headphones (that will give me three (3) pair that I'm going to order another pack of the Koss Protable Replacement Cushions. These Cushions will not only fit the Koss KTX Pro headphones but a number of other Koss portable headphones. THEY ARE BEYOND GREAT THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

It's so nice to see a company take some environmental responsibility and sell replacements for the one item on all headphones that wears out the fastest. These foam pads fit well on two different pairs of Sony headphones I have that the pads wore out on. It's like I have new headphones again!

These replacement ear covers for the Koss Portapro headphones are just what the doctor ordered. My old ones were showing signs of wear and one was actually ripped. These made what looked like an old pair of headphones look (and feel) new again. I love my Koss headset and these made me love them all over again.

Ditto the praise everyone has for these replacement cushions: these fit my PX100s perfectly. Hooray for standardized headphone sizes!
