for the price this isn't bad,
This review is from: Koss SportClip KSC75 Earphone (KSC75 07) (Electronics)
OK so I got into this with a low expectation. These retail for 19.99. On Amazon of course I was able to find a better price. Now the titanium does add a sound signature I haven't heard before, but I like it. The highs come out very clear and crisp, but not so high that it hurts or becomes irritating. Just a very clear clean sound on the highs. Mids are a little odd, almost seems like it gets more quite, for the bass, these pack a punch you can feel even in an open air system. The bass does not even affect the highs on these much at least. The only down fall is that they are very fragile on the cord where it connects to the driver. I'm thinking about recabling mine, then run it on an amp. I usually like to use monitoring headphones, small speakers sound small, so they were just for the gym instead of buds, but I use them for more then just that now. I would say if you are thinking about getting these to take care of them and for sound quality then go for it. They also make a head set with the same drivers on amazon. They look ugly but I'm sure they sound the same.

Tops for the buck,
By Amazonian (San Francisco<P>San Francisco, CA United States) - See all my reviews The secret to the KSC-75 lies in the way the phones rest against your ears, providing an appealing bass topped by some treble detail. Picky listeners might complain about a shallowness in some of the highs, or an inability to render tracks with less refined productions. But these are all about value. What's more, a number of users have been able to mod these to produce a sound even closer to their liking. It's a good investment for anyone who doesn't like in-ear phones, and doesn't want to lay down a mortgage just to hear their tunes. Since these rest on the ears, there's a small amount of sound leakage - a consideration if you're someplace public like a bus or a coffee shop. (That's where in-ear monitors show their strength.)
