decent quality at a decent price,

If you're looking for some good quality headphones but don't want to spend a lot on top-of-the-line quality, the Koss UR15C headphones are definitely a good choice. The sound is far clearer and the bass is much deeper than in any other economy-priced headphones I've tried... overall they're comparable to other headphones in around the $40 price mark. The adjustable size headset has plenty of sizes to choose from and importantly, it doesn't slip from one size to the next when you're wearing them. The ear covers are large and you can fit your whole ear inside the headphone (I hate when it sits on your ear, instead of covering it). My only gripe is the cheap stretchy covering on the headphone padding... in any other headphones I've owned, that stuff wears away quickly and starts to tear and fall off... not a huge problem but a mild annoyance. But for $20, you can't expect the highest quality for everything here. Overall, I give these Koss headphones a 4 out of 5 rating. Good middle-of-the-road choice.

Decent headphones for everyday use,

I originally purchased the Koss UR-15C headphones on a limited budget for listening to music from the computer. For this they do a great job. They are lightweight and provide decent, clear sound. They aren't very useful for noise cancelling, however, and I find myself sometimes having to press them closer to my head to avoid the background noise of the envrionment that I am in. Overall pretty decent average use headphones.

After having my first set for six months, I now have two sets that I use on both my work and home computers.
Pros: 1) Long cord allows for easy computer use. 2) Designed with ear padding to both comfort and block most sounds around an office. 3) Solid design allows you to literally throw these headphones around without worry of breaking.

These are excellent headphones. It has a long cord so you can actually have room between you and you're CD Player. And the headphones are huge so you don't have these little cover things and you can barely hear out of them. Excellent 100%

Problematic,

Well, I bought these headphones and loved them at first, but only two weeks later they started having problems. The right earphone became significantly quiter then the left, and now the left earphone shorts down at the jack (if i wiggle it around enough i can get it too work, but i have to hold it. The bass isn't really all it's worked up to be from the package, but its not bad either. One listen to John Mayer's "Clarity" at a decent volume level and they will distort, and they dont cancel anysound what so ever. They seem to let more noise in than most smaller headphones (I know they're not "noise-canceling" but they let in a LOT of noise).

However, the sound quality is decent and they are fairly comfortable; a, little big actually. Maybe they are worth the money though, because they have a lifetime warranty and can be replaced for 6 bucks plus what you pay to ship them there, and you get little crappy ones with them. I guess you can't expect much from 20 dollar headphones... save up and buy some nice ones (Senneheiser 212 Pro) 2x the price, but 100 times better.

Just save the recipt and box and return them if you are having problems.

I have been a DJ off and on for the last 8 years playing in several small clubs in my area (Music is the heart and soul of my life)so Quality is a must. I bought the UR15C headphones as a quick replacement to the pair of Bose that were damaged in a transport from one club to the next. I was realy amazed at the sound from such a pair like this. After replaceing the pair for "work" (more like a hobby) I brought my UR15c's in to use on the computer. I run mine off a Pioneer 500w reciever hooked in to my Computer this works wonders I gave up on the "computer speaker systems" never the sound I wanted.
Here is the deal. The UR-15C Headphones though haveing a long cord(8feet)have excelent sound and power handling capibilities. There is some minor distortion when you hit the High end of the power limits. other then that there is good quality bass mids sound very good and the highs do very well. I would recomend these to anyone looking for good sound at affordable priceing.

I have one for maybe two years: still works great. Good balanced sound. Has a long cord, and is VERY comfortable. Want to get another one so I will have one for my computer, and one for my stereo. What a deal at a give away price!

For the price, this is a marvel of comfort: soft, smooth padding around the ears and a broad, flexible headband. The wire too is flexible and long. The sound is clear and the sound isolation excellent. I'm no audiophile - simply a happy customer.
