I have seen all of these colors in person when I was visiting Sweeden. I didn't buy any when I was there and regretted it when I returned home. So, I decided to buy a few after my return. The Votive itself is beautiful. Very solid and very interesting. However, you should know that the lighter colors are much more detailed than the darker colors. The "blue" for example, is a beautiful color, but you cannot see the movement of color in the votive the way you can in the lighter, more pastel colors. I purchased the blue, but I am going to return it for a lighter color. The beauty of this piece is in the movement of the color. You can see from the pictures exactly what I mean. So, just select your color wisely. If you like the "swirling" colors, stick with the lighter shades.

Kosta Boda is well known in Scandanavia for making high quality, functional art glass. I own this piece. While it is impossible to know exactly what one will get when ordering over the internet, if you receive a votive in which the white is dispersed nicely in the clear glass, it gives a striking effect when a candle is lit. It may look a bit boring at first, but know several people in addition to myself who own and love it. Many comment on it when it is lit.

I notice that various colors are available now from Amazon and I have seen them all in person as I live in Norway. All are lovely and the photos appear to be fairly true to life.

I love the whole Kosta Boda Atoll line. These votives are beautiful and look wonderful when a candle is lit in them. They are very heavy and a great piece of Swedish crystal. Pink and Jade are my favorites so far, but I want to buy one in every color!!

If u have ppl that are impossible to buy for, this is a nice gift. Mom had me order the white for my sister & brother-in-law after perusing half a dozen options from the Amazon site. She flipped over it's simplistic beauty.She asked me order a second one (a first in my lifetime). She said the picture didn't do it justice. Top rating from a tough critic says it all !!
