When I received my box of Kraft fat free mayonnaise packets I immediately checked the individual packets for an expiration date and there was none. I then looked on the box and found a UPC code and another code with 7 alpha-numeric characters (ex: 08M07C0). I called Kraft Foods and was told the code next to the UPC code was the expiration date. Using the code on my box as an example (08M07C0), the code reads as MM(letter)DD(letter)Y. This translates to August 7, 2010. I asked about the letters in the code and was told they have nothing to do with the manufacturing date. Kraft Foods also said these packets have a Shelf Life of 5 months only. So my box was manufactured on 08/07/10 and expires on 01/07/11. Kraft Foods did not recommend using the packets after the expiration date. I would like to see Amazon list the expiration date of their stock so you know how much useful life is left to a grocery item. Maybe they could create a link on the page that you could click on and have the expiration date displayed.

I purchased these February 4th, and they shipped 2 Day Air with my Amazon Prime. However as will the other reviews, they only have a 5 month shelf life. The box I received expires in 18 days. Luckily Amazon issued a refund for the product.

Had the product had more time left on the shelf life it would have been an excellent buy. However the 18 day limit but a real ding in my plan to take them to work to use for my sandwiches at lunch

I HATE light mayo of any kind, and I've tried them all. I bought this today to make shrimp salad and it is amazing! I didn't even have to add anything else to it. Just the shrimp and the mayo. I'd forgotten how great mayo could be since I've cut back so much on it with the full calorie stuff. I agree it has a lot of cracked black pepper as others have mentioned, but that's what makes it so good. Can't wait to put it on a turkey sandwich!

Well I think this mayo has good taste and is definitely not too spicy. I used to grind black pepper onto regular mayo when making sandwiches and this is as spicy as I liked mine. I like spice on food but not to the extent of killing the taste of your food, I'm a medium hot sauce kind of person. I suppose if you were eating this stuff by the spoonful it would get too spicy after a couple bites, but that's pretty gross.

I first bought this at Albertson's, but then in complete evilness, they stopped carrying it just as I got completely hooked. Thank god for Amazon!!! This mayo is almost-too-spicy-but-not. Truly the most awesome mayonnaise in existence. Eat it on burgers, egg salad, or anything else!

" WITH " ... Olive Oil. What does this mean? How much of the oil in this mayo is olive oil, and how much is the (Omega 6) oil you're supposed to avoid?

Ingredient options?
(A) Olive Oil. Then it'd be "Olive Oil Mayonnaise" instead of "Mayonnaise with Olive Oil."
(B) "Soybean oil, then olive oil." In which case there is definitely less than 50% olive oil.
(C) "First olive oil, then soybean oil, then canola oil".

Option (C) is the tricky part. Could there be as little as 34% olive oil, plus 33% soybean oil, plus 33% canola oil? My understanding of food labeling regulations is "YES." Were I Mitch Hedberg, I'd say "I'm not allowed to tell you the ingredients in this mayonnaise but there are three oils involved..." Instead (and to conclude) Kraft.com made it easy to cut and paste the ingredients:

Ingredients: WATER, OLIVE OIL, CANOLA OIL, SOYBEAN OIL, VINEGAR, MODIFIED FOOD STARCH*, SUGAR, MALTODEXTRIN*, EGGS, CONTAINS LESS THAN 2% OF SALT, MUSTARD FLOUR, DRIED ONIONS, DRIED GARLIC, NATURAL FLAVOR, ENZYME MODIFIED EGG YOLK*, BETA CAROTENE* (COLOR), LACTIC ACID*, POTASSIUM SORBATE* AND CALCIUM DISODIUM EDTA AS PRESERVATIVES, PHOSPHORIC ACID. *INGREDIENT NOT NORMALLY FOUND IN MAYONNAISE. CONTAINS: EGG.
Size: 30 OZ
Upc: 2100002631

Bon Appetit!

Disregard that bad review. This has pepper in it and it's a bit spicy but so worth it. I mean, if you don't like pepper, why would you buy it? This is great for anyone watching calories or on Weight Watchers since it's 1/2 the calories of regular mayo but still it's all natural and much better than regular. Use to make chicken salad, put some on chicken and broil or pan "fry." A little goes a long way so you get all the pleasure of mayo with none of the guilt.

I want to marry this product I love it so much!

I've had a couple really good sandwiches at local restaurants lately with chipotle mayo so I was excited to try Kraft's product. Very disappointing, it is not a pure spicy mayo, it tastes like just a mix of Ortego taco seasoning mixed in mayo. I don't want my sandwiches to taste like tacos from a kit, I want a sandwich with a nice flavorful kick. I tried it once and threw it out. Hoping there is another brand that will get it right...

Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil and Cracked Pepper takes a little getting used to. It is a "lite" mayo so it has that slight difference from regular mayonnaise. It is not quite as rich and has more of a lemon flavor. The cracked pepper is prominent in the mayo. I can see why some reviewers were put off. Only order this if you are used to a heavy black pepper dose on your food. That said, I find this condiment a fantastic replacement for regular mayo in nearly every application. It is mind blowing on a sandwich and just as good on salads and veggies. If you are partial to sliced tomatoes in your sandwich, then you are in for a real treat. Highly recommended!

I never had this before and got it only because it was on a give away sale price on amazon.
i can't beleve its so good, now let me state first that i'm a big fan of mayo to start (always hellmans/best foods)
so this has the creamy goodness of mayo with an extra kick of flavor and can take a everyday turkey sandwich and jazz it up, big time!
i now see that there is other flavors to be tried... try it i think you will like it
