5.0 out of 5 stars I love the beats on these tracks!
I really enjoyed this CD and I'm very particular when it comes to industrial music. When I need to get pumped up in the morning I always pop this CD in. I love the lyrics too, they really bring out somewhat of a sexual, adrenaline rush. Its a really good buy!

3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing!
I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of this CD, but was disappointed after listening to it. Most of the songs sounds the same. Some of the lyrics are good, but for the most part, this isn't a CD I would keep in my car. It doesn't tide me over when I'm sitting in traffic...actually, it annoys me to the point of road rage.

I first discovered Angelspit on a hair website that Destroyx used to run. I sampled some of their music and found it to be pretty intense in a good way. I was surprised to find their CD in my local mall; I didn't think they had hit the states yet. Anyway, I bought it.

The tunes differ from one track to the next. Unlike most industrial albums (well, most albums in general), where the beats and vocals get monotonous by the 5th song, Angelspit has a unique way of doing just the opposite. I credit it to the fact that with some songs, Destroyx's vocals are the most prominent, while on others, ZooG's are. Also, their song subjects are the most interesting I've heard. I have had the CD for a few months and have yet to get bored with it. I'm very taken with the fact that they explore "industrial medicine" with their music and with their choice in clothing.

I find Krankhaus to be a great driving/video game soundtrack.

Their first album, "Nurse Grenade" is also a great set. In 2008, they are preparing for a new release.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this album right NOW!, May 4, 2007

The first thing that comes to mind after inserting this gem of a cd into your player is simply an overwhelming WOW. This is by far the overall BEST album I have heard in many years, and that is saying something, trust me! Every track is composed magnificently and not a single song will leave you thinking "eh...."

I personally can't wait for a second release. Any industrial, goth, or alternative fan needs to own this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely amazing!, December 15, 2007
This review is from: Krankhaus (Audio CD)
Now one of my most played albums on my iPod, I found out about them from a link in iTunes. Intricate lyrics you have to can listen to without getting bored from repetitive-ness. Of course, they have refrains, and you may get tired of them, but the other verses are original and better than mainstream stuff by far! Even though they're Aussies, you normally can't tell (except on dead letter or if you're really listening!) that they have an accent. All in all, the lyrics, distortion-vocals and beat, they are all wonderful!

I was awaiting this album after hearing "100%" on Digital Ferret's Asleep By Dawn album. This is great high energy music and the lyrics are great! Very similar styling to KMFDM, highly recommended if you like KMFDM and the like.

4.0 out of 5 stars If this is what 'Angelspit' tastes like, it's really good., September 4, 2008

I will say I got into an industrial splurge of downloading, and one day I was browsing through another users music folder and found Angelspit and noticed Combichrist had remixed a song or two, and that they had remixed KMFDM. So I HAD to download this cd. Immediately upon completion, I looked up more info, and bought the deluxe addition as well as Nurse Grenade off of their website.

This CD is effing amazing. Like another reviewer said, it does give you this sexual adrenaline upon hearing this cd. I really love the females vocals more than the males, personally.

Their lyrics are brilliant.

"We'll make you better than God did before" - from Elixir

"God made me a cannibal to fix problems like you." - 100%

If you like Industrial music, you will probably like this. Apparently they tag their music as Cyber Punk. If you like the samples you here, sorry Amazon, but I would recomend buying this album of their website www.angelspit.net and get the double disc version, because if you're into industrial, you probably like remixes, and the remixes of their songs are pretty good.

For fans of KMFDM, Combichrist, Ayria, Ego Likeness, etc.

and if you like this, pardon me for promoting, but check out Porcelain & the Tramps on myspace. female fronted. really really good, unfortunately she has no record released publicly, yet. i have an eleven song EP, and read she was signed to Virgin so look forward to future releases from her.

I have played Angelspit's music over and over for the past few days, and haven't gotten tired of them yet! The beats are great, the lyrics get stuck in your head...it just makes you want to move! My favorite tracks from this cd are Vena Cava, Elixir, 100%, Juicy, Get Even, Wolf and Wreak Havoc. Okay, that's a lot for favorites, but that proves my point! This is a great cd! Go buy it now!

4.0 out of 5 stars The missing link between disco and industrial..., March 13, 2007
This review is from: Krankhaus (Audio CD)
Great sounbding CD.....even more amazing seeing how the duo are an Australian act. Great pace for the songs, full of cyber punk attitude and pulsing, almost house beats. All of this combined with the sharp lyricism makes this an album worth buying for anyone into KMFDM/MDFMK, Static-X, Celldweller or the such.
