single use krazy glue means "single" use. there's going to be just enough to get done what you need done in each tube. great for first aid emergencies. this is a really nice bit of kit you can break down and put in multiple locations where the need may arise, e.g. tackle box, tool box, range bag, glove box....

i used one to glue my trackball's rubber foot back on. i ended up gluing my finger to the rubber pad and had to cut the pad some to remove my finger. i expected that to happen but i thought i was being careful. i went to the garage and nabbed some emery cloth to remove the rubber glued to my finger. after polishing the rubber off my digit, i returned to find i'd glued my trackball to my computer desk. i just wanted to share that with everyone because it's funny. i knew i should have used 2-part epoxy instead.

I cant count how many tubes and cans of glue I have thrown out over the years due to them getting hard and unusable over time. I generally only use small amounts of glue at a time so over time I have learned to only buy small amounts since I will only be throwing it away anyway. This packaging is a great idea, I wish all the glue companies would do it.

As for the Crazy Glue itself maybe it's me but I have had very little success using it. I have tried using this glue since it first came out with the ad of the guy hanging from a steel beam from his hard hat. Yes it worked for small jobs but there are other glues that could do that also. But for anything serious where pressure or a strain was going to be exerted on the mended part it never has worked for me. That hard hat thing has to be a total farce, would you try it ??? This is the last time I try Krazy Glue for any serious repairs, I'll go for Gorilla Glue or a 2 part glue that has to be mixed together they have worked better for me in the past.

First, there is less glue in a tube than the volume would suggest. As in, a lot of air in addition to glue. This is fine, but as you work on a project, make sure not to ration the glue based on the full size of the tube because you will run out.

Also, keep in mind that the screw on applicator holds a lot of glue. If you need to get the most out that you can, don't use the applicator. Unscrew it and use it straight from the tube. No waste left in the applicator tip that way.

Often superglue projects only require a little dab of glue. This is unfortunate because the tube has enough glue for several tiny projects. I've found that if you use the applicator when you first open it, you can leave it like that and it will harden. Next time you want to use it, unscrew the applicator and get another 1-2 uses out of the same tube by using the applicator as a cap, no longer can it be used as an applicator.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, this is the good stuff. This is the gel consistency that is most often what you want ...not the watery CA that a lot of inexpensive off brand superglues are. This is the only way to glue!

I used to think all superglue was the same. And, glue-wise, it basically is. But these guys actually managed to raise the bar. There are two great things about this:

1. Tiny single-use dispensers. All superglue is single-use, because no matter how careful you are, the tiny nozzles will always get clogged with super-hard superglue. Other superglue comes in much larger packages where I ended up wasting 97% of the volume; these smaller packages are much more satisfactory as I don't have to waste as much.

2. Plastic carrying box. All superglue comes in small packages which easily get lost, but by putting them together, in a bigger box, it's much harder to lose them.

Great job, Krazy Glue!

Like Autumn Quote ! Quote, I was unable to get anything out of the tube. Tossed it.

True, the package had been discarded by whichever household member bought it an stuck it in the drawer. So I didn't know to shake, pour, press, squeeze, or chew on the nipple. And I don't know shelf life or our purchase date. Still, it could have worked but didn't.

There are some jobs for which a cyanoacrylate adhesive (i.e. Krazy Glue) is the easiest and best solution. In the past, when one came up, I would put it aside for a while in case another project would come up that would also need such a glue. The reason? After buying the glue, I would tightly cover it, but the next time I needed it, it would be hard, dried-up, set. So, I would need to buy another tube.

The single use tubes have ample glue for most projects, and then you are done with that tube and more remain for your next need.

Warning: In my pack, the first two tubes had virtually no glue in them. I had to try to squeeze it out like toothpaste from a used-up tube, and I ended up getting most of it on my hands. The third tube had some glue, but by then my hand was sticky, and it pulled off the part I was trying to glue back onto an ornament. I'm throwing away the fourth tube. I thought this product made sense, but it was a total waste of money.

I love Krazy Glue! I've been using it for years and years and it's been just about the go-to adhesive when things need fixing. Why do I like it so much? It works fast-usually only 30 seconds is all you need for a bond. It's strong-if you prep your surfaces being bonded. You only need a little-or you can use a lot. It bonds just about anything-wood, metal, glass, stone, plastics, ceramics, stoneware, pottery, rubber. I've repaired things that would have otherwise been tossed out and used it for tough jobs where JB-Weld or other glues wouldn't have worked like on small items, toys, electronics, and tools. I also follow an old mechanic's trick where if you cut yourself, you can use super glue to glue the wound shut. It's really amazing and I don't need a band-aid. Yes, it works! For the record, surgeons use a type of this glue to close incisions.

I love it. The only time I don't use it is when I need a real strong bond or the bonding surface is too small or under shearing loads-then I reach for JB-Weld. I really like the design of the glue bottle and applicator and the protective tube. The glue container itself is small and holds about .14 oz of glue, but that's really all you need as a little goes a long ways. It has a green cap with a needle in the end to seal the tube after using it. This works very well. Better than some others I've tried from Loctite and Super Glue. The bottle dispenses a small drop at a time, which is good to avoid over-applying it and making a mess and having bonded skin. The tip is small, which I like, as it helps getting glue where I want it.

Krazy Glue is really a chemical called cyanoacrylate-ester with proprietary fillers to speed bonding (usually powered glass) and cling.
