This is a great clamp. Period. The swivel pads on both sides ensures a correct surface placement everytime. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for the simple reason that the cushion grips get in the way of the release lever-and in my opinion-really do not add anything to the over all functionality of the tool. And the machining for the adjustment screw is a little off. Had to oil it and run it in and out a few times with a set of pliers to cut the threads.

Bought a few for woodworking. Bought a few more when I constructed an addition to my deck. Talk about handy! To be more precise, they hold crap in place while you do stuff to it. Welding, furniture, framing, you name it...

I purchased the large kreg pocket hole set a few weeks ago and it comes with the smaller 3 inch clamp, which for small projects is fine. However I was doing some larger lumber and the 3inch just didn't cut it. This clamp instantly found its place and was perfect for the jobs I need it to perform.

Draw backs - I have only found one, the release lever for the clamp is hard to get to with the blue covering over the handle, making you take a few extra seconds to release it.

I would defiantly recommend this clamp with the one exception being the release level and soft grippy crap on the handle. If you are contemplating this item I would look at the same item less the handle covers, I did it available on amazon.

These Kreg clamps are great for keeping boards flat, level and properly aligned while screwing them together. This large clamp is perfect for wider boards (i.e. 2x6).

I use this clamp for holding down my Kreg jig and gluing layers of wood together. It won't mar the wood (use thin wood strips for soft wood gluing.)It hasn't slipped yet!

These clamps have a nice blue padding on the handle. Makes it nice when you are clamping things over and over. I have used standard clamps and the kreg clamps and I prefer these.

Clamp was delivered quickly and was as described. Everyone using Kreg pocket joints need to have a large clamp. It makes the job a lot easier for the larger pieces of wood.

This Kreg face clamp is a must-have for keeping members aligned when pocket screwing frames.

But please, do NOT use this face clamp on your face, as it leaves a nasty bruise. x->

This is an OK clamp, but the release lever is hidden under the cheap rubber slip on grip, and difficult to use. My DeStaco brand clamps have an easy to use external release.
