Yes this stand is expensive, but you get what you pay for. Kreg products cost more because they are made to last. This stand is ROCK SOLID and if kept out of the elements will still be standing 200 years from now, regardless of how much abuse it takes. Highly recommended.

I was amazed at how heavy the box was when UPS dropped it off. Wow!

Inside the box, the first thing I noticed was that each piece was made of heavy-gauge steel and individually wrapped to protect the paint job. The nuts and bolts are all good quality and none were missing.
The instructions were clear and the stand went together easily. If you've ever had to redrill holes that didn't quite line up, you'll appreciate how all the holes on the KREG stand align perfectly.

The leg levelers are large and have a built-in swivel to accommodate uneven floors. I think this thing could support my car! I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well constructed this stand is! It is sturdy and heavy. I would get the available set of wheels that are offered as an accessory for this stand. I'm using it for a desktop cnc router and had to extend the top with a 1/2 inch plywood and it works great!! If I had room for it, I'd get another one. It can have many uses.

Very strong stand...get the Wheels too...Easy to put together on about an hour. Using wrench and socket makes it easier.

As with all of the Kreg products I have purchased over the past year or so, the quality and packaging is truly second to none. The box is neatly and securely packaged in a way that there is no rattle or slop when you try to shake the box. Once you open the box, you'll know why. Kreg packages all of the pieces in protective wrap and fills the box in a way that allows little or no movement.
The Instructions were very clear and detailed. I began by laying out all of the materials and opening the bags that held the hardware. After reading over the instructions for 3 or 4 minutes, I never had to pick them up again as the wording was clear, concept made sense and all items were clearly included.
Once assembled and all hardware tightened in place, I opted to install the Kreg casters rather than the included adjustable feet. Needless to say, the casters have proven to be far better than any I have purchased prior to discovering Kreg.
If you don't mind spending 10 percent more for quality and you like the idea of "made in America", don't hesitate to get this stand.

...and attractive. The whole thing is made from very heavy steel - surprisingly heavy. It goes together fast and easily. Folks are critical of Kreg for selling kits of parts instead of assemebled goods - but their stuff is made in the USA, and maybe they have to skip the assembly to match the price of their imported competition. Just a thought. I'd MUCH rather get American goods even if I have toi do some of the work.
