Kreg's 3" swivel caster set is the best that I have ever installed. These casters have 1/2" machine screw stems and four heavy duty washerless nuts. I had to drill bigger holes into my router table's legs to accomodate the large stems. The stems are approx. 2" long. I will enjoy the additional 3" tabletop height, which could be an unwanted feature for some people.

One reviewer said that his set arrived without nuts, but that has either changed or his packager accidently left them out. I measured the stems to be 1/2", not 5/16" as someone has tagged this item. My package has the blue Kreg logo, and it came with four non-standard machine nuts that exceed the standard hardware store commodity grade nuts. Washers are unnecessary for this installation.

The ability to lock these wheels to prevent both roll and swivel movement are key features. All four casters swivel and that makes this set well worth their price.

They are capable to carry the load from any woodworking shop machine. I have a 1,200 sq. foot well-equipped shop. These casters were purchased for my Grizzly Router table with its cast iron top and sliding aluminum side table. Any tablesaw, bandsaw, wood lathe, jointer or planer would be well served by this caster set. Some machine shop tools will be well served. Almost every workstation in my shop has wheels. These are the best of the best that I have found anywhere.

These casters are great! Bought them for my router table what a treat they roll easy. These are the best casters that I have ever bought. I'm going to start replacing the casters on all my equipment with these. I added 300lbs to my router table to see how they could handle the weight. I kept the weight on the casters for 2 weeks and rolled the table around. WOW I can't believe that they work as good as they do with the extra weight. This is great for the people that have small shops and have to move there equipment around every day.

These guys are heavy duty. With a quick push on the lock, the wheels not only won't roll, they won't swivel either. You can use them for just about anything you need to roll around but want to safely lock-down.

I recently was given a table saw that I needed to be able to move around. The type of locking casters that were available at Lowe's, HD and Menards only locked the wheels but not the swivel. Since SAFETY IS KEY I needed to find a caster that locked both the wheels & swivel. I found this exact item at Sears but decided before buying to look at what was available at Amaazon. I saved 28% by buying them on-line. They are easy to install and are well made.

I ordered the Kreg castors for my Bench Dog stand. The Bench Dog castors are made with plastic while the Kreg castors are all metal. They lock the castor movement in two directions the wheel and the angle of the castor. I am very happy with these castors; they are made well and they lock your table in place with no movement. I highly recommend them.

I bought them for a 250 lb Craftsman cast iron table saw. They roll smoothly, 2-way breaks (lock roll and rotation) work fine. I am happy with this product.

I bought it because I needed to move the router table around since I was working in limited space. They roll good and lock well. Build solid and beefy. They do raise the table a bit. Glad I purchased these even if they were a bit overpriced.

I have been wanting a set of casters for my cast iron table saw for years. I ran across these one day and read the good reviews and decided to get a set. The only thing I can say about these is outstanding! I can now move the saw with one finger and the wheels lock rock solid. I recommend to anyone looking for a good set of casters that these are the ones to buy.

After shunning Taiwan-made products for decades, in recent years I've been pleasantly surprised at the quality of their current manufacturing capabilities. Their factories which have survived the Chinese onslaught do very respectable work and these casters are fine examples of their prowess... good rubber, large studs and steel locking levers that prevent the tires from rolling AND rotating - unlike some others with fragile plastic levers and built-in limited life span. Just took receipt of my third Set and previously-stationary tools like my belt/disc Sander, Router Table, etc. are now moved with ease and solidly locked in place when they're put to work. I'm looking for a reason to buy another Set!

Recently I purchased a Kreg router table and forgot to get casters.

I searched out all my usual links and haunts looking for just the right casters.

In the end I ordered these through Amazon.com.

The exceeded all of my expectations and were as good or better than the after market ones I usually purchase.
