As a relative newcomer to using pocket holes, I obtained a wealth of information from this DVD. The first few minutes of my video had quality control issues(shaking/jumping) but that cleared up before the project started and did not bother me enough to send it back and try another copy. The narrator not only shows how he accomplishes the various steps but explains why he is using one technique and the possible problems we may encounter. I enjoyed this dvd and I have accessed the handy chapter menu to brush up on individual procedures. A very reasonable price, I don't think you will be disappointed if you have an interest in either making tables or enhancing your familiarity with pocket holes.

Like the other Kreg video hosted by John Silloats, which features a bathroom vanity or cabinet project, this one is a bit light on scripting and attention to detail, but the project flows well and the end result is useful insight into a variety of pocket hole techniques.

I would have liked the dialog to be less commercial-ish, with fewer overt references to "how great the Kreg pocket hole joinery system is!" and more of letting the product speak for itself. I also like the format of the Gary Striegler video that Kreg put out, which has several different project examples and techniques geared toward each one of them, rather than a single project like this one. But for the price, which is very reasonable, it's a good value and newcomers to pocket hole joinery will get a lot out of it.

At first I thought this to be a simplistic DVD, however, later I realized that in the course of the building of this one project the authors covered many different applications for the pocket hole joinery. Overall simple, but effective. Worth the money and the time to view it over and over.

Good overview of how to use the product. Probably should have been a little cheaper for what is basically advertising, or included with jig.

This dvd is not totally useless. A novice like me can always learn, as I did, some new methods that will help me over time. I cannot afford the equipment shown in the video and neither can you if wood working is a hobby. No wonder the host measures once and then cuts. The camera work was terrible at key points in the DVD. But the host and the camera are always in sync for the infomercial parts. Keep your money until the DVD's match the quality of the Kreg Tools.

With this kind of detailed presentation, anyone can build anything. I thought it was an excellent if slow presentation. most of the drilling makes it slow but some of it is necessary to make some points. Many important tips. All in all, very good.

I find this DVD to be of great help to any first time user of the Pocket hole system. I used this to put together a very simple livingroom box to hold my stereo equipment and my friend thought i bought the whole thing. I will recommend this to any one

I received this as a Christmas present along with the Kreg master tool set. I haven't used the set yet, but have watched the video and am very disappointed. I expected a step by step tutorial on how to build this specific table. It failed in my eyes due to all the high dollar tools this guy used. This is the Kreg tool! Lets face it, this DVD seems to be aimed at the novice, and the people that would use this DVD aren't starting off by buying the $500-3000 dollar tools. The DVD didnt even have the parts list or measurements. Myself and a couple of friends who were really psyched about trying to make cool stuff, fell asleep half way into the video. The Guy is boring and monotone. He used many tools I believe most hobbyist don't have, and wouldn't dream of purchasing until they were sure they could do it. So all in all I did glean some insight from the DVD, it surely isn't going to help you make that table, it supplies no info for creation or a dimension of the table, just how to screw it together. After looking on the Kreg Web site, I found they have a project area "albeit sparse" to choose and pick from there. All of these projects give A dimension and a supply list. I would not suggest purchasing any DVD's made by this guy period.

This DVD takes you through making a table using the Kreig. It contains some good information. Things you may not have thought of.

Very informative. Even if you've used this jig before, it's a good refresher and has lots of helpful tips. Reasonable price.
