This is a great DVD, but the one reason I can't give it 5 stars is becuase there's no plan. I had to sit and write down all the measurements down as I watched.

I agree with the other reviewer, that you an learn a whole lot just by watching, but if you actually want to build the router table, be prepared to sit and write down all the measurements.

This DVD goes into depth the making of a router table cabinet using the Kreg jig to drill and connect the joints. The same techniques could be applied to almost any pocket hole jig. It is presented by renown woodworker John Sillaots, whose folksy style is very easy to follow. Even though he builds a router cabinet in this feature he presents many tips and techniques that can be applied to any other project where the quick strong joinery that pocket screws provide are made. A great view for any woodworker.

While I've seen the Kreg demo at woodworking shows, I hadn't really seen the process of building a full project. This DVD gives some good insight on design considerations and has quite a few tips for helping get the project aligned correctly when building. I learned more than I expected and the knowledge was worth the price of an evening movie ticket.

This DVD is a big disappointment. It spends more time advertising Kreg products than building a router table. It also did not include the plans for the table that it said were included. Without the plans the video is virtually worthless. I do not recommend this DVD.

I watched the DVD and if you have just gotten a kreg pocket hole system, it will help. Generally they teach you to make a fancy box, but with pocket holes. If your in the market to build a router table this is a really nice one. However they mainly stick to the cabinet part and encouage you to buy the top.

I used this DVD to build my router table, which was my very first woodworking project. It was a little "infomercialish" but that was cool. Kreg faxed my a exploded view and the dimensions. I was able to modify it in order to fit my needs.

My only real complaint is I was not familiar with where to order the dust collection stuff from and thought that it could have been mentioned. Other than that, it walked my through the process. I also own the "Trim Carpentry" DVD and have already used it to do the wall wainscotting using this system. I'm planning to use it in tandem with other joinery techniques for building kitchen cabinets. This videos focus more on the project, which I wanted it to do, than on all the things this tool can do. If that is what you are desiring you probably need to look elsewhere.

No plans or measurements with the DVD .... it's a separate purchase for some reason.

The DVD is more like an INFOMERCIAL but it's ok. I just think it shouldn't be so fast through the process and have illustrations as well as plans in case you wish to make one for yourself as well.

Of the several Kreg videos I own, I think I like this the best. No one is going to nominate Kreg for an academy award, but I thought this one did a better job than the others.
