About the Author

Sim Shattuck, born in Decatur, Georgia, has lived in Baton Rouge, Dallas, and New York City, although most of his growing years were in Northern Virginia, where he graduated from George Mason University in 1972. He earned his Ph.D. in English from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1997. Now teaching at Louisiana Tech University, this is Sim s third novel. He is the author of Pleasant Hurricanes and Basilisk.

Format: Perfect Paperback
If you like GOOD OMENS and SKINNY LEGS AND ALL, you will like this mixture of human and "not so divine" interplay. There is a close cultural tie between Haiti and Louisiana, which Shattuck obviously has experienced first hand, and has playfully incorporated in his book.
