I do lots of cooking from Fuscia Dunlop's "Land of Plenty" Sichuan cooking cookbook. Sesame paste is an essential ingredient for many recipes, and I have found this Greek brand to be better for them than some of the Chinese brands I have tried. Very creamy, very fresh (subjectively anyway.)

The title of this review says it all. Krinos has always made excellent tahini. You do need to stir this stuff once you open it to mix the more solid stuff that settles to the bottom. Don't be freaked out by the oil because it's the type of oil that's good for you.

great taste and consistency. would like to know its shelf life both refrigerated and non-refrigerated.
