I just LOVED this video! Having been to kirtan with KD..this was the next best thing.The chants were very beautiful ones{I have all his CDs & am very familiar with all of them}-I was pleased with what was selected for the video.His speaking was also very moving and captures the "emotions" that accompany chant.The photography & editing were wonderful-they also caught the "mood" of an evening spent with this remarkable man,and his fellow musicians.Speaking of which...ALL the players were glorious.They speak to a place far beyond emotion{and description}.All the people in attendance that were viewed on the video,including the children, were ecstatic & joyous{as it is & should be,at such a gathering}.Jivamukti Yoga Center,where this video was filmed is a very pious space,which also adds to the experience.The photos & film clips of KD's beloved guru,Neem Karoli Baba are very,very moving.If you enjoy Krishna Das,chanting or BOTH-DO NOT MISS THIS VIDEO/DVD.If you never experienced either,try it anyway-it will really move you!!!While it obviously isn't an actual KD kirtan,it will tide you over till he comes to your area again.Enjoy fellow yogis & yoginis...OM SHANTI,SHANTI PEACE!!

Spend an evening with this DVD and you will feel as if you have spent the evening with Krishna Das and his friends and followers. The music and chanting are excellent and the warmth of the people involved provides good rapport. At the end of the disc, you will feel uplifted and relaxed.

The tape was very rich with meditative music-Kirtan.
It even has some footage on his Guru.
Next best thing to a live performance.
KD has a rich and powerful voice that keeps ringing in one's head.

By Grace I stumbled across KD's live CD. I have not looked back. This DVD is a gem. His heart is totally open and it shows. If you can't get to one of his Kirtans any time soon, this CD can tide you over. Jai Ma!!
