Excellent portrait of God Krishna's childhood and adventures, written and put together for the junior audience. The spoken language is Hindi. Subtitles in several languages makes it truly global.

The versions of the stories selected are the ones prevalent in Northern India. Highly skilled animation, clever use of colors, effective voices, and melodious songs. Besides making it entertaining, the writers have taken tremendous care in presenting the story with sensitivity and reinforcing important life-principles, which the child audience will not miss. Great direction.

The only drawback is that at the end of the show, some Indian children and two Indian adults are doing a Westernized dance to Westernized music about Krishna. The children are wearing Westernized clothes. This is not only absurd and out-of-place, but totally inappropriate for an Indian/Hindu Puranic portrait. It may be a secular program, but the story is ancient, East Indian and comes from Hinduism. The Western dance is disrespectful to the contents of the video, reducing it to solely entertainment. It takes the spirit out of this great program. The director and choreographer have missed a valuable opportunity to include a classical Indian dance.
