If not, or if you don't know him, you'll probably have no interest in his ego and all that comes with it.

A staged "reality" show by an obnoxious crew. A survivor cast member trying to hang onto his fifteen minutes if fame

This show features two brothers who flip houses for profit in the Houston, Texas area. Some viewers may recognize one of the brothers as Russell Hantz, one of the most-hated men on the reality show, Survivor. Russell's brother, Shawn, seems to be a lot more level-headed and likeable.

I'm honest enough to admit that I first started watching this show hoping to witness Russell fail. But over time, I'm beginning to like him a wee bit more as I realize that he does genuinely care for his family members.

Regardless, I still get a little satisfaction from seeing Russell stuggle (which he often does on this show) and even better is when he has to admit that he is wrong, which he does not do quickly, easily, nor often, but I've seen it a time or two now.

Between the details of the houseflips, the things that go wrong, the inter-sibling rivlary, and Russell's crazy antics (in one episode, he shoots up his own house with a shotgun), this show is one wild ride!

If you love to hate Russell as much as I do, try this show out!

I guess the main character on this show is a celebrity from Survivor. Who knew?!? Most often than not, there is more drama than flip. I've seen 4 episodes, and I still cannot remember the names of these guys. That's how insignificant they are to me (as celebrities). Anyway, these two guys (who are brothers), are always at each other's throats. Seriously, it's a constant battle between them. Sometimes, the battles are entertaining. Sometimes, just annoying. In the middle of all this noise, is a renovation. Because of all I just mentioned, I would give the show 1 to 2 stars. But because I'm in it for the education, I can honestly say there are a few things I've learned about flipping houses. Thus, I give the show 3 stars. Like I said, I've watched several episodes to see what happens next, so there is something to it that keeps me coming back. Maybe it's the super hot realtor that keeps me coming back for the next episode?

The flip parts of this series were excellent. Had the writers included more detail about how to purchase, rehab and sell a house the episodes would have been better. The drama between the two brothers was overdone.

The problems characteristic to their flips provided room for plenty of angst most viewers could identify with. All the dialogue with Shawn telling the audience what a mercenary partner Russell was, and all the dialogue with Russell telling the audience what a nincompoop Shawn was, was an unwelcome distraction for me.

The time dedicated to the brothers' reproaching one another could have been better used giving more detail to the sale of their flips featuring the gorgeous blond real estate lady. I'm quite sure sales aren't as easy as portrayed.

I love this show. They are really stupid. I laugh so hard or my mouth falls open. They help me feel better about myself. I know it sounds shallow, but hey, this show is shallow.

Once I started watching, I just couldn't stop. I couldn't tell if I was raising my self to their level or lowering my self-esteem. Either way, the brothers cracked me up almost as much as some of their concrete work.

As far as flipping shows go, this has to be one of the worst. If you liked Russell Hantz in Survivor, you might like this one. If not, or if you don't know him, you'll probably have no interest in his ego and all that comes with it.

Unless you count Russell's ego, there's nothing realistic or of any value in this show. I really do believe that he is that flippant and careless with his life, and remodels though.
