It's a tight squeeze, but your passport and usb cable (the short one that comes with) will fit just fine in this case; the reason I gave 4 stars is because it is a bit of a pain because you the USB has to be flat, which. The older passports with the angled sides will occasionally pop out of place before you can zip it up but really, it's not that difficult and if it wasn't snug, what would be the point? Overall its a cute case and feels sturdy enough to protect the drive from damage incurred by a short fall or from banging around in a bag or briefcase.

The product doesn't claim to be water proof or water resistant, but since there is never a time that I don't have a coffee with in reach, I decided to run an experiment of my own by holding it under a tap running at full pressure for 10 seconds. The results? A very small amount of water managed to sneak in through the zipper when holding the zipper directly under the tap, but nothing sneaked through else where. My conclusion is that if you spilled a glass of water or cup of coffee on it and wipe it up in a reasonable amount of time, unless by some freak occurrence the liquid in question manage to for a high pressure stream and direct itself at the zipper, your passport would remain dry (and unstained, I also tested with coffee :), the end.

It is a nice case, but it should have an elastic band inside to hold the external drive.

The case is a little too small and the drive pops out of it (maybe it is meant for an older model of a drive). The case does not take into consideration the shape of the hard drive which has two square corners and two rounded ones. Overall, I wish I went with a different case.

Goes perfect with my red Western Digital Passport. Wish there were a little more room for more than just the HD and cord, but works fine either way.

The case arrived on time in new condition. It has a semi hard shell and my passport fit tight the way I would want it to. The perfect case for it.

It is a nice case but the dimensions were wrong so it is definitely a tight fit for my hard drive. all over it works out for its intended purpose.

Do Not Buy!!! Item was way too small to fit any portable hard drive. Even the smallest one I own (Western Digital My Passport Essential 1TB) is a very tight squeeze. Item received was marked as Nintendo DS Lite case. It looks like a woman's change purse. SF Planet's website even sells this item as a DS Lite case. Not a hard drive case. Customer service is horrible and slow. Stay away.

I bought this case to house a small Radio Shack multimeter. I wanted a clam-shell case, and thought the interior pocket would work for storing the test leads. However, what I received does not resemble this product at all -- except in color. There is no pocket, no strap, and the case is not a clam-shell style case. It is simply a silicon sleeve with a rectangular slot on one end. Presumably, the hard drive that it's designed for will slide in and the power cord can hang outside the slot, but I can't use it for my meter.

This was perfect for my passport hard drive. It keeps it well protected and it is cute too.

Lightweight and provides ample protection for Digital Passport -- zipper sticks a bit, otherwise would give 5 stars
