Dried latex paint on a wooden floor: softened it enough in ten minutes to peel off the paint that had fallen in little, raised drops. The paint that had been accidentally spread thinly over the top of the wood floor was scrubbed off with a gentle scouring pad, but took a little of the finish off the wood as well.
Greasy stovetop: Cleaned up easily, but not any better than other, similar cleaners (including some from the dollar store).
Baked on oven grease: Did nothing at all, whether wiped off immediately or left to soak in for a half hour. Scrubbing didn't increase the effectiveness, though I did try.
Greasy painted woodwork: You've all had the sensation of wiping over the surface of grease rather than actually removing it, which is what happened here. I tried leaving it on to soak for 15 minutes, but it did no better. I got the best results by putting very hot water and dish detergent into a spray bottle, shaking it up, and spraying it on while wiping immediately afterwards.Read more ›
He had lived there four years and was a three-pack a day smoker. You should have seen the place. The nicotine stains didn't show so badly on the wood-paneled walls (though you could sure smell it), but the windows had so many little brown globules, you could hardly see through them. I tried the standard cleaners, homemade and store-bought, and while some worked better than others, it was clear I was in for a lot of work (or a big cleaning bill). As a last resort, I grabbed the Krud Kutter and gave it a try.
One squirt on the windows and little brown rivulets were pouring down. All I had to do was wipe them off. It worked well on other surfaces, too. So well, in fact, that I gave it another try at my house, and found it was enough better than the cheaper products that it was worth the slight difference in price. Now I keep one bottle in the kitchen and another in my bathroom.
So - floors. Spray with undiluted KK and use a Swiffer mop thing with a Swiffer pad or a Swiffer duster mop thing with a terry cleaning cloth instead of the dusting cloth and have at it. Finish with a spray of vinegar (straight or diluted 50/50) and a clean pad or cloth. Clean. Amazon sells spray bottles 3 to a package that has measurements for ounces and milliliters for easy dilutions. They have adjustable nozzles so you can spray widely or squirt a stream.
Use full strength for heavy cleaning of really dirty stuff. Follow with a spray of vinegar & a wipe - and be proud of the clean. Use 1 part KK to 5 parts water for general cleaning.
Use it in the kitchen and bathroom. You don't need any other cleaners except Soft Scrub or Bon Ami for sinks, tubs and toilets.Read more ›

Amazing cleaning product. Just wish they'd solve the spray bottle issue. Every bottle I've ever ordered gets stuck while I spray making it frustrating to use. Read morePublished 11 hours ago by Kevin O'Connor

I almost hate using this product, because it makes me aware of how absolutely filthy my apartment is. I'm a renter of an apartment with a kitchen covered in a thin film of grease. Read morePublished 6 days ago by Heidi van de Wouw

Expensive and I could not notice a difference while using it versus water alone.Published 9 days ago by Sir Eric
I use this to clean out by art brushes when painting with oil paints. Better than using turps or other solvents which are toxic.Published 9 days ago by Kent E. Twitchell
