Compact, yet wide enough to toast six slices of bread, bake a 12-inch pizza, or broil a 2-pound chicken, this toaster oven makes it easy for every family member to cook on the countertop. It even top-browns cheese sandwiches, English muffins, and bagels. The 1,500-watt appliance heats up to 460 degrees F in just five minutes, has a 120-minute timer that automatically shuts the oven off when a selected cooking time elapses, and provides a browning-control dial that includes a pizza reheat setting.
Other features include a two-position shelf that automatically slides out when the door opens, a removable crumb tray, cool-touch sidewalls, and a nonstick interior for easy cleanup. Well if I could give it zero starts I would. The timer knob felt cheap from the start and within 3 weeks, it was done. Broken, and like an idiot I didn't have the receipt. Krups said tough luck and I say, I'll never buy Krups again.Poor quality!

This product is a major disappointment. It looks very nice, but its beauty is only skin deep. I haven't used the broiler, but the toaster is bad enough that I've already decided to sell the product. I'm serious when I say that a butane lighter would probably toast better than this product. Typically it either toasts only on one side or burns both sides. There is a range on the dial that produces nicely toasted bread, but it is so small that I'm only able to hit it about 1/3 of the time. Spend more money if you have to, you'll save it back in bread. I've thrown away the equivalent of one loaf already in burned toast!

Its almost like there is a warranty timer built into this unit. The day after, it simply stops working. It is a so so toaster, but not great. The rotary knobs and timers are sort of junky. But now, as it no longer works 1 year and 1 day after we bought it, and Krups will not fix it, I will no longer buy another Krups product as long as I live. They are aweful.
