I spent 49.00 for a machine (XL6)that leaks all over my counter. They use a cheap plastic sealer ring that doesnt seal and once you make ice in it , you better have it on a towel because your counter will have as much on it as the blender has in it. The seal ring is not damaged , its just a bad design. I wish I could send it back or get the company to replace it but it doesnt look like that is going to happen. If you need a blender , dont buy this one.

Returned this blender. It is too noisy and did not meet my expectations. The Krups I had had was QUIET, multi-speed, and professional looking. This blender isn't worth the money, even at its reduced price.

I bought this product after looking at its specifications with 14 different speeds, ice crushing capability etc etc. There was not a single review to know how the grinder works or something, so I guess probably nobody had bought it. The 14 speed dial does not change the speed at all, it is low and high that's it. There was a some kind of metallic part that had come off or something and I could hear it hit the sides of the grinder when I shook the base portion of the grinder. I called the manufacturer and told them about this and their answer was, as long as the grinder works, that should not be a problem. The first time I used, I just made some apple milk shake and the grinder started smelling, like something burning inside. I did not want to use it any further and I returned it. Not a good product.

We were very dissapointed when we received the blender. The base had a rattling sound and pieces from inside it were coming out through the bottom!! Too bad...it seems like it would have been a really nice product to use, but we were so frustrated we sent it back for a refund.

My 10 year old daughter likes smoothies and I wanted her to eat more fruits. In addition she got tired of eating regular breakfast and wanted something fast. So I bought this blender.

No problems so far but here are the things I don't like

1. If I put a lot of fruit, bananas, srawberries, ice and etc.
it's hard to blend. You have to stop/start etc and doesn't crash the ice well

2. It's hard to clean and I am not sure if I can put in the dishwashing machine.

3. I would prefer something that if some of the liquid left you can just leave in the container, like Phillips (more expensive) or you can just take the container with you.

However this unit was inexpensive and does the job, so I would recommend it but only give 3 stars due to the issues I found with it. In the future I would consider other things and most likely buy a Phillips because it's more convinient.

it's good looking and works great too. it's powerfull and has a great glass jar

The bachelor son passed it on to us saying it spewed all over his counter. The blender definitely has something rattling around in the motorized base. Since I have no directions/manual could someone tell me if the glass jar can be released from the plastic portion at the bottom for cleaning? (This is the square bottom which fits onto the motor.) We haven't given up on it yet.

It's not as sturdy as a high-end blender, but it sure did act like one when I used it. It seems to work very well, and mine did not leak either (knock on wood). Overall, I am satisfied, and it looks cool.
