My old toaster (cuisinart) toasted unevenly and although it had a bagel button, crisped both sides of the bagel when I used it. This toaster does a great job with toast as well as bagels (the cut side is toasted and the other side is warm). I freeze pre-cut bagels and by using the defrost function and pushing the bagel button, the frozen bagels are perfectly done! The crumb tray is easy to remove and clean. The only reason this doesn't get a 5 is design...it's a little bulkier than my last toaster, although I love the stainless finish!

I just got this toaster and it is really nice. It toasts fairly quickly, but most importantly, it toasts evenly. The slots are long enough to fit larger-type bread and wide enough for bagels. Much better toaster than the Dualit that costs half again as much money.

It pops the toast up well before it is done and one side is always much more toasted than the other.

Almost always have one side of bread untoasted when the other side is done. Overpriced for the poor results!!

I've had this toaster for more than a year now and can honestly say that I love it! It toasts English muffins, bagels and bread perfectly! I love the SS finish and the fact the outside stays cool even when toasting. It cleans very easily and the slide out crumb tray is great! I gave up on toaster ovens after using them for years and wanted the best toaster I could find. None of the ones at the department stores seemed to be of any quality, and the metal/SS ones seemed rather flimsy. I highly recommend this product!

I paid over a hundred dollars for this toaster, hoping to finally be able to buy one that would last and serve well. After a bit over a year with only two of us using this toaster, one side will no longer heat both sides of a slice of toast. It's perpetually on the "bagel" setting on two slots. The warranty is for only one year, so now I must buy another toaster. Again.
Don't buy this if you want a toaster that will last. I'd have done better to buy a cheaper one and replace it.

A great value for the money and does a great job toasting everything and the dial is great to adjust for a degree of toasting

I had a Krups toaster that performe flawlessly for many years but, unfortunately, it finally failed. I then began searching for a replacement and knew I wanted an other Krups. Shopping about I found Amazon to be the best source and purchased the toaster. Using the toaster over the Thanksgiving Holiday with house filled with children and grand kids proved the toaster perfomance. I am very pleased with the toaster and would recommend it with out reservation.

So far, so good. I paid top dollar for this toaster and fully expect top dollar service from it. I guess I could buy three toasters for the price of this one but in my long life of experiences quality of consumer products has deteriorated. In order to keep prices down quality must be sacrificed. 40 years ago most manufacterers took pride in their products, not the case today. If this one fails to meet advertised expectations I will be very upset and many people will know it.

This toaster works perfectly (at least so far) and looks great!
