Received part ordered practically as soon as the order was placed. Excellent delivery service. Note: it is not easy to find proper replacement parts in stores, thus this was the only practical way to receive the replacement carafe.

When I broke my orignal carafe, I decided that was my cue to go buy a whole new coffee maker. The old carafe leaked like crazy all over the place when you were pouring, always making a mess. I had a change of heart and decided to purchase this carafe because the coffee maker did a good job other than the dripping. Now I am very glad I bought it. The new one does not drip. I'm not sure what the difference is because they look identical.

This is the same carafe as the original one. The only issue I had was that it was out of stock for a while. I don't know if that means the carafe is of lower quality. The seller was great, and the shipping also.
