The Krups 2 -slice toaster has 1100 watts of power designed to quickly brown the surface of the bread and retain the soft texture within. The brushed stainless steel front panel and full stainless steel housing provide high quality finish. The integrated warming tray is easy to clean, removable and dishwasher safe. It quickly warms breads, muffins, pastries, and other baked goods without drying them out. The LCD control panel displays special functions, offers 9 levels of browning to accommodate all toasting preferences and counts down to the seconds to the end of the cycle. The display is back lit in blue for high visibility. The 3- position metal control lever turns right to toast and left to raise the bread for easy one- handed removal. Bagel function toasts bagels from the cut side while warming the crust while the defrost function warms frozen bread through then toasts. The stop/eject button halts the toasting cycle at the touch of a button. Comes with 1-year warranty.

This is the comment I get when people see my toaster. I've owned this toaster for about 3 years and I still LOVE this thing! All of the great features that I love:
1) Nice enough and small enough to keep out on the counter.
2) DIGITAL TIMER! How many times do you want to know how long it's gonna take for your toast to be done because you don't want to sit and wait?
3) Toasts your bagels and hamburger buns only on the inside.
4) There is both a reheat and defrost option, both come in handy.
5) Turn the handle to left and it raises small pieces of toast (English Muffins) so you can get them out easily.
6) There is a convenient tray at the bottom that pulls out to empty the crumbs.
This toaster looks great and works awesome! It's funny to be so enthusiastic about a toaster, but this thing is worth it!

I've been extremely pleased with my Krups FEM3B 2-slice toaster. I struggled deciding between it and the 4-slice because I have 3 boys. However, it only takes a little over a minute to toast 2 pieces, so it works out fine to run it several times to feed our family. I prefer having a smaller toaster that's easier to store or keep on your counter than having such a large 4-slice to deal with. That would have been overkill in my opinion. You need to following the instructions about initially running it without toast in it so it will function properly. We've toasted bread, bagels, and english muffins in it all very successfully. I like that it allows you to push the bread up higher when it's done. It easy to use. I'd buy it again and highly recommend it. I've had it for a year now and it was worth the price.

My wife needed a new toaster, and after looking at a few models, we settled on this Krups model. This unit is pricey, but it works great and looks cool. Unlike most toasters, it will compensate for back to back toasting and adjust its toasting time based on the units temp. It has many extras that make it a great toaster.
