This elegant-looking stainless-steel electric kettle serves hot water for tea at any upscale function, whether it be a corporate dinner party or a fundraising luncheon for the arts. A light on the TeaStyle’s lid illuminates when the kettle is on and the TeaStyle quickly boils up to 11 cups or 1.7 liters of water. When water is hot, the whole kettle lifts off the 360-degree rotating base and comes right to the table for serving. A hinged lid makes it easy to refill the kettle and a lid lock prevents against accidental spills. The TeaStyle has a concealed stainless-steel heating element, which makes the kettle easy to clean, and a removable, washable filter that cuts down on the build-up of limescale particles. For safety, the kettle automatically shuts off once water has boiled and a built-in mechanism keeps the kettle from boiling dry. This is the worst electric tea kettle I've ever bought. This was a very very disappointing purchase. To start with, the kettle's lid stopped openning after a 3-month use. Now, 6 months since the purchase, the kettle is leaking and rusting on top of it all... So basically, save yourself a MAJOR disappointment and buy another kettle. If I could rate it at 0 stars, I would, but that is not an option.

After several months, the lid failed to open properly. A few months after that, the small and poorly-designed lid hinges broke off completely.
