These filters would be great..., June 14, 2011
This review is from: Krups Moka Brew Replacement Filters- 6 pack (total 600 filters)
If they were available. Fear not, there is an awesome, dependable and more economic solution. First, get yourself a
Uchida LV-XGCP40 Clever Lever Extra-Giga Craft Punch, Circle, then buy a box of
Chemex Coffee Filter Fits Most Conical Filter Coffeemakers - 100 Bonded Oxygen Cleansed Prefolded Filters. You can also find these at local craft (Michaels) and coffee (Peet's) retailers, if need be.
The Extra-Giga punch knocks 3.5" disc filters out, four at a time, so a box of Chemex filters nets you more than a year's worth of filters for your Moka Brew, with no concerns of availability.

Krups Constantly Fails To Provide Filters For The Moka Brew, April 27, 2011
This review is from: Krups Moka Brew Replacement Filters- 6 pack (total 600 filters)
We have a krups moka brew coffee maker. It's great except that every time I go to order filters --- they are out of stock. Out of stock, everywhere at the same time. I had to order Chemex square filters, each sheet is 12x12" and will produce nine (9) moka brew filters. Krups Moka Brew Filters are Overpriced and Never Available!!! Shame on you Krups ... For Constantly and Repeatedly not providing a needed supply of Moka Brew Filters. And shame on the coffee filter makers for not stepping-up and providing this custom sized and custom textured filter.
We have had a Krups Moka Brew Coffee Maker for over 1 Year. Every time I ran out of filters, We became annoyed because the filters were "Not Available" and severely overpriced. So I tried a couple of alternatives. You can purchase Chemex Filters --- From which you can cut 9 Moka Brew Size Filters from each 12x12' Chemex filter. That means that for the price of a single box of 100 Chemex filters (cost approx $10), you can create 900 Moka Brew filters (cost approx $54).
Alternatively, you can purchase a package of 5 Yama Cloth Filters (cost approx $6) - which fit the moka brew perfectly. Each Yama cloth filter is reusable and will last approximately three months. Therefore a single package of 5 Yama Filters will last you for 15 months!!! Moreover, the taste of Moka Brewed Coffee with the Yama filters is substantially superior to the overpriced and constantly unavailable Krups Moka Brew Paper Filters.
All in all, the Krups Moka Brew filters, are almost never available from any source - and when they are they are way overpriced. For me, the Chemex or Yama Filter alternatives are a MUCH better choice.

Krups Moka Brew Replacement Filters, September 10, 2010
This review is from: Krups Moka Brew Replacement Filters- 6 pack (total 600 filters)
One is paying for convenience with the ourchase of these "custom-sized" (proprietary) Krups filters. I love the coffee maker and am willing to pay for convenience. If you wish to stretch the use of the filters they can be rinsed, dried and reused ... they're that sturdy.
