5.0 out of 5 stars Functional design. Perfect size for a single cappuccino.
The tapered shape and flared handle make this pitcher easy to maneuver under any size frothing arm. I also own an RSVP brand frothing pitcher which is much prettier than the Krups, but I personally find the Krups handle more comfortable to use. I'm not dissing RSVP here; they make a great little pitcher too. I'm just saying that as the owner of both brands, I'd have to...

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice, but order the bigger size
It's a nice looking pitcher, but I recommend you order the 20-oz. size instead. I thought this would work for me because I only make a single latte at a time, but this pitcher isn't really big enough for a decent sized latte. Might work fine for single-shot beverages, but for me, I need the next size up.

While the 12-ounce size is just right for a single cappuccino, buy the next size up (20-ounce) if you're planning to make lattes or more than one drink at a time. Once the frothing process really gets going, the 12-punce pitcher fills up quicker than you'd think.

Like the handle. It keeps fingers away from hot stainless steel. Pours well. If you're making more than one cup of cappuccino at a time, you'll need a larger one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works nicely with the Delonghi, October 11, 2010
This review is from: Krups XS5012 12-Ounce Stainless-Steel Milk Frothing Pitcher (Kitchen)
I bought this to use with the DeLonghi EC155 Espresso MakerDeLonghi EC155 Espresso Maker. It fits nicely under the steam wand (only if you use it at the edge of the counter, or if the Delonghi is raised on a platform or some sort. That makes it easier to get the tilt of the steam pitcher under the wand.

It's a nice build- the handle feels sturdy. I've used it to steam/froth milk, make chai lattes.

5.0 out of 5 stars perfect for my Mr.Coffee machine, March 19, 2009

I'm the only one who drinks cappuccinos in the house so I just need to make one cup at a time. This is the perfect size for me since I just steam 5 oz of milk. I have never had to deal with the cup or the handle getting too hot. I love the design of the handle as it keeps my fingers away from the body of the cup. It's sturdy and pretty, being stainless steel. The frothing arm for my Mr. Coffee machine is quite short but this cup fits perfectly. A bit pricier than the others but for the quality, it's well worth it. I got this with free shipping so I'm not complaining.

We got an espresso machine for the holidays, but didn't get a frothing pitcher. In the interest of saving a few $$, I've started making my own homemade skinny vanilla lattes and this pitcher is great for the milk! It's just the right size to fit under the nozzle of a mid-range, big-box-store purchased espresso machine. I've used it for a few weeks now and have no complaints!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works as well as the 20 Oz Pitcher, just smaller, December 24, 2008
This review is from: Krups XS5012 12-Ounce Stainless-Steel Milk Frothing Pitcher (Kitchen)
I replaced this pitcher with the Krups 20 Oz pitcher because I was downsizing and figured I only needed one. For a single beverage, this is a great size or if you don't use a lot of milk, it works very well for two. I liked the option of having another 8 ounces in the larger pitcher, particularly since they are so similar. The handle is at a wonderful angle, allowing for even the largest of hands. Because it is stainless steel, be cautious of heat transference. I use my little Latte-Whip instead of an electric steamer, so I don't encounter the heat issue. This cleans very easily, pours well, and holds up to daily use. Although I give it 5 stars, I would recommend the larger size so you have the option.

My machine has the frother sitting quite low, and I am not going to put it on a stand. I originally bought a different frothing pitcher but I had to angle it so far that the milk and foam would pour out. I looked at the 20 oz version of Krups at BedBath but it was also too tall.

The 12 oz is the perfect height for my Saeco Aroma w/o a stand. It's actually too small for two latte's but it can work ok for two capps. So glad I found it though because it's so much cleaner!
