I ordered this spray and was waiting it's arrival so I could preserve a new artwork. Shipping was fast as promised and it arrived in an undamaged box that was packed well. The can is full but it won't spray. The nozzle clumps up with goo and so I tried to replace the nozzle with a different one, no luck. Stupid me I didn't look at the NO RETURNS POLICY on this item until I made every attempt to make the can work so I am stuck with a can of varnish that doesn't spray and I am out the cost! Never again will I order this product online!!!!!!!!!

I purchased this varnish in hopes of using it on my fine art work. As a professional painter, every purchase I make is a thoughtful one. I received this varnish, followed all the instructions on the can, however when I went to spray, the material came out in a stringy line, not an even spray at all. I tried cleaning the nozzle and re-shaking the can, but nothing worked. Luckily I had tried it on a test piece, otherwise it would have ruined my painting. I went online to try and return it, only to find out that I cannot send it back due to it being a hazardous material. Is there any way to credit me for this unusable product? I am a huge Amazon supporter and hope you can help me out.

Thank you.

I bought two cans of this spray (at $11.99 a can) to varnish my paintings. As an artist it is important to me to varnish my paintings as soon as possible. I followed the instructions on the can and even tried cleaning the nozzle but when I tried to varnish a painting it came out as a stringy glob of goo and ruined one of my paintings! I cannot return it because it is a hazardous material. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this material and would have given it 0 stars if I could have. I want my money back!

I wouldn't have bothered to write this review if I hadn't seen the others and decided to add my two cents. I ordered mine from another source last year before reading the reviews, as I usually do, and paid the price. Mine did the same thing. Thankfully, I always test sprays in the open air before using them on an object, in this case one of my best pieces of fine art that needed "renewal." There was no spray, just a stream that reminded me of my dog. There was no way It would spray, and I couldn't send it back, so I tossed it and accepted the loss of my purchase price. No more Krylon products for me. Bad quality control at the factory. These couldn't all be exceptions rather than the rule.

I started out with a test spray and the can sprayed as one would expect. Thus I moved on to the art and half way through the first pass the can started putting out a stream. Yes absolutely ruining the work! In other words I paid Krylon for a product that killed something that cost more than Krylon product. Sigh.

I tried cleaning the nozzle with no improvement.
