5.0 out of 5 stars A perfect match!! February 14, 2010
Color Name:Oil Rubbed Bronze|Amazon Verified Purchase
I wanted to replace my polished brass finished bathroom fixtures with up dated oil rubbed bronze, but no money to replace everything. I purchases several paints, non matched the finish of oil rubbed bronze. This paint, however, is a PERFECT match. I have finished fixtures, faucets, hinges, and even shower surround. It is recommended that you use a primer first, which I did. This can of paint really changed the look of my bathroom at a cost of less than $20.oo.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excelent oil-rubbed bronze finish March 26, 2010
Color Name:Oil Rubbed Bronze
Our company uses this as a finish for two of our product lines. Our customers love this finish. The product dries quickly to the touch, and is as hard-as-nails after a few days. If you get an aged bronze item, and rub it with an oiled rag, this is what it looks like! I strongly recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worked great to update those brass light fixtures June 25, 2012
By TJS
Color Name:Satin Nickel|Amazon Verified Purchase
My wife said all the brass had to be replaced by satin nickel - "HGTV says brass is outdated and won't sell anymore". We sprung for new doorknobs and hinges at Lowes - but I didn't want to pay the cost of brand new light fixtures. This did the trick nicely. I've updated a couple of brass bathroom light bars and a soldered fixture with beveled glass. Sand the brass to take out glossy finish, apply primer (I used Rustoleum Clean Metal Primer), then apply this. It took two cans to cover two six globe light bars and one beveled glass fixture. Shake the can vigorously for about twice as long as the instructions say to avoid dark streaks. My first can worked without any problems, but the second can didn't apply the color evenly and I had to apply a second coat over a couple of areas.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Rubbed Oil Bronze September 8, 2011
By Audes
Color Name:Oil Rubbed Bronze|Amazon Verified Purchase
I am a big fan of Krylon - unfortunately it is not as easy to find as it once was. This color, however, is not rubbed oil bronze. It is much too dark and really borders on black! My lamps, curtain rods, bath fixtures, etc...are all rubbed oil bronze and after painting with this and putting them side by side - my painted objects are closer to a black color. I did not detect any "metallic" accent to it either. Very disappointing as now I have to try to find another paint and redo what I painted with this to try and match my other items more closely.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great paint for changing color of my hardware August 2, 2011
By Roe
Color Name:Satin Nickel|Amazon Verified Purchase
I used this spray to change the color of a doorstop, kickplate, and security chain from Brass to brushed nickel to match the new door hardware I bought. Saved me lots of money since I didn't have to purchase these items to match. I painted them a couple of months ago and the paint is holding up well. The only place it really didn't work was the plate on the door jam where the doorknob closes. I guess it gets too much wear from opening and closing, so the paint did scrape off. Ended up replacing those parts.

4.0 out of 5 stars Magic March 22, 2013
Color Name:Satin Nickel|Amazon Verified Purchase
This stuff is magic. I was (re-)making a shelving unit out of steel plumbing pipe and wood. Before, I'd gone for black pipes, this time, I really wanted nickel, to match the fixtures in the room I'd be putting it in.

This stuff looks and feels like metal, not spray paint. With even a tiny bit of care, it goes on smooth, and the results are really good. On an extra piece of pipe, I did a 'stress test' on the stuff, and repeated light friction - against a cloth - didn't have any impact on it whatsoever. This stuff is going to last.

4.0 out of 5 stars almost perfect March 20, 2013
Color Name:Satin Nickel|Amazon Verified Purchase
I am using this to make plain plastic switch plates look not plain. Needed primer, but otherwise it's working great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect color of paint! March 11, 2013
By C Fults
Color Name:Caramel Latte|Amazon Verified Purchase
LOVE this paint color. I purchased the Caramel Latte color. It is a bronze but silver at the same time. I just love how it turned out. I used this product on wood and it looks great! I used two cans of it and neither had a problem of goop getting anywhere or stopped up on the sprayer. Would definitely purchase again!!
