4.0 out of 5 stars Works good and easy to use!
I used it to touch up an old plastic chrome dash emblem for a 1972 car and it looks very good. Not as good as chrome, but much much cheaper and faster.

4.0 out of 5 stars Leaves a residue on my hands every time I touche it., November 2, 2010

It could be that I'm not using this product on the proper surface, but it leaves a chrome residue on my hands every time I touch my finished art project. This is even after I allow two weeks for drying time. Other than that, it gives what ever you're painting a nice luster and is good for touch up jobs.

Was good quality pen. It worked for what I bought it for. Cost was reasonable and the item came to my house quickly after I ordered it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for auto restoration of worn off chrome on plastic parts., August 30, 2011
This review is from: Krylon KSCP902 Short Cuts Paint Pen, .33-Ounce, Chrome (Tools & Home Improvement)
Love this product! This pen has a chiseled tip approximately a 1/4", with about a 35 degree angle. When using the pen, it didn't drip paint all over and held the paint right on the tip for a very controlled application.

Is it chrome? No...Of course not. Is it a good substitute? Absolutely. I am very impressed with this product.

I used this to "re-chrome" worn off chrome on plastic. In particular, the thin, raised chrome highlight strips on my 1984 Cadillac Eldorado tail lights were almost completely worn off. This pen did a terrific job restoring a like new look to my tail lights.

I just noticed the seller had the audacity of stating a list price of $25.00. No way. They sell for about $5-6.00

5.0 out of 5 stars Front sight High Viz..., November 8, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
People must think I'm crazy buying high end guns, and marking the sights. But none of the factory or after-market sights are perfectly designed in my opinion. I use this pen to mark the front sights around the tritium glow dot. Under daylight or dim light use, when the tritium is poorly visible - the white mark stands out with high contrast against my black rear combat sights.
I further use it sparingly to mark a wispy thin horizontal cross mark on the top portion of the rear sight. Why? To look like a rock star -> using combat sights to make small group shots at 15 yards on paper. The horizontal mark acts like a cross hair when lined up properly with the front sight top edge. But when I go back to rapid combat shooting, my brain only picks up the front sight and ignores the small white marks again. I can go back and forth all day long this way. It works like a charm so I marked all my expensive handgun sights this way. No regrets...

4.0 out of 5 stars Amendment to Initial Krylon Paint Pen Review, November 19, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've already written an initial review on the Krylon Paint pen but wanted to add one additional comment. I was amazed that the shipping and handling was more than twice as much as the cost of the item itself. If this is any indication of their shipping charges, I do not plan to order anything from this company again.
