Best instant water heater,

This review is from: Ks-94 Electric Tankless Water Heater - 9.9Kw @ 220V (Misc.)
I wanted an instant water heater for my apartament, as I live in a hot climate this was a perfect option, instalation was very easy, I had to put 60 amp brakers and it works wonderful, I replaced an old 40 gallon tank that was broken, now I have space available and spend less energy, this little thing give endless hot water but you have to be sure you have the correct wires to bear 50 amps of the unit. Excellent product.

Hi everyone,Bought this water heater and it works great. I live in a two story house and put the htr in the basement. Bath is upstairs, approx 25' and it supplies me plenty of hot water. Been plumber for 40yrs and this is an excellent htr. Give it 5stars. And to top it all off the company that sells it are even better! Rated them a 10+ 10 being the highest. Choose this one, cause the co. will answer your email within 24hrs.

This review is from: Ks-94 Electric Tankless Water Heater - 9.9Kw @ 220V (Misc.)
I purchased this heater as an emergency replacement for another tankless that broke.I was not thinking much of it because it was very inexpensive compare to what is out there for the price. Heater was installed week ago and so far so good, if not impressive. There is water flow limited choke regulation, connections for In and Out are ½ inch FIP faucet type - I used Braided Stainless Steel LFLSPC12-68CP which is 12" 3/8" OD X ½" FIP but those come in different lengths. I was not impressed at first with construction because outside housing is plastic, but then inside parts are made of fiberglass reinforced resin based composite and I noticed main parts are stainless and brass and all holds together very well. There is off switch and adjustment of temperate as well, easily accessible as the knob from outside. You take off the knob and undo one screw on the very bottom to lift the cover for installing electrical connection. My cold water in Central FL is now 69 degrees Fahrenheit and this heater brings it to 124 degrees at full flow of 2.5 gallons per minute. Using flow choke on Inlet does increase water temperature few degrees and it appears it does have safety minimum flow so you cannot stop water completely and burn out the heater. With 69 degrees input I do not have to use it. Back of unit has built-in safety valve set at 70 lbs, and it is adjustable if you water pressure is bit higher. Electrical connection can be made with permanent wiring from 50Amp fuse best using braded 50 Amp singles or with flat shaped heavy electric range type cord that is then plugged to range type outlet, it takes 3 wires for connection using loop type crimp-on connectors (supplied with unit if you have good crimper). Watch for proper gauge of wires - 9.9 KW / 240V is no joke. The heater hangs on special yet simple vertical metal bar attached to wall with 3 screws (also supplied with unit). In the box factory sent also simple basic hand-held shower head and white shower hose but I had no need for it. Country of origin is Taiwan. Bottom line - I was almost certain it will be "temporary" lousy tankless until my other heaters comes in, but believe it or not it appears it will be a permanent one now. If you can manage with water temperature increase of 54 degrees, this is really well working unit. I do not know if the internal pressure switch will last as long as promised by manufacturer, but if it does I will purchase another one as a backup unit. So far the switch is smooth, does not cause any flicker or RFI, install was simple and price versus performance is very, very good. I did run some calculations and it cost me here about 1 cent per minute with full flow of hot water when heater is located 30 feet away from showerhead or kitchen sink. Added that to cost of water at about the same, 15 minutes hot shower = 30 cents with water included. The best of using tankless is heating water only when you need it, and certainly endless supply of flow - so no more fights over "who drained all the hot water" if you have kids and one of them "parked" themselves under fully running shower for an hour and a half. LOL
