I must say, these cards are incredible. For those of you out there trying to decide whether to purchase these, this is a good buy. I've been a long-time devotee of Kuan Yin, and this is the most comprehensive and reader-friendly Kuan Yin product I've come across. The back of the card really explains what the mantra on the front does for you, and I've seen amazing change in my life since using them. They're so practical. My favorite mantra is Kuan Yin of the clam. It goes "Nah-mo Guh Lee Gwan Een" and it opens up the closed-door mindset. So whenever I run across situations where people are being narrow minded or hard-hearted or unwilling to see another perspective, I give this mantra under my breath or in my head. And, incredibly, it works! Sometimes right away, sometimes a bit after, but it works! And that's just one of the 33 mantras. :-o The drawings are lovely too, and are just what I always thought Kuan Yin might look like.

I have researched and written about ancient traditions of Kuan Yin and other Bodhisattvas for over 25 years.

If you would like to create--or deepen--a relationship to the Bodhisattva of compassion and mercy, this is an effective way to begin.

The Chinese chants are very beautiful and powerful. (Get ahold of a recording of them if you can.) However, if you can't get the hang of pronouncing the Chinese, or don't relate to Chinese, then just meditate on any of these 33 cards while you recite OM MANI PADME HUM. That's easy enough, and that mantra will tie you right into Kuan Yin through its ancient and powerful momentum.

I highly recommend these lovely cards!

It's a very handy pocket sized set of cards to take anywhere all the time, so you can study and pray often.
Could be better if the letters were in bold and larger print, otherwise it's the very best a true devotee can have along
With "The Kuan Yin's Rosary".
